Stephen Smith: Cowboys 'pathetic' for playing DeMarco Murray

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith said the Dallas Cowboys are “pathetic” for wanting to start injured running back DeMarco Murray in Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.

“I think it’s quite pathetic that they have to lean on DeMarco Murray, broken finger and all, gotta have him out there in the cast, for crying out loud.”

Murray had surgery on Monday to fix a broken bone in his hand. He practiced on Wednesday wearing a protective glove, and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

No offense, but the only way for guys like him to go away is for people to quit watching or listening to him.

Posting something about him just gives him relevance. He doesn't care if people hate him and he probably prefers it. Negative sells in the media.

I think he trolls, just like Skip does. With Stephen A. however, I think he lets some preference or bias show from time to time. Part of the Cowboys bashing is for show, but I do believe he's legitimately a little upset he could be on the verge of proven wrong about the Cowboys once more this season.

Murray while a team player is also playing for a new contract.......He stands to make that much more if he can add a full season to his resume. Oh, and 2,000 yards doesn't hurt much either.
