I cannot believe SAS still has an audience.

I say that but I get it. People don’t like him and stil tune in. That’s an incredible power to have. People I don’t like I refuse to watch them. I’ll never watch Colin Cowerd. But to have people watch you who don’t like you….man what a gift you can do some damage with that.

Screw him... that's the same for 31 other teams. He gets to place a 100k bet every year, he gets the entire field vs dallas. I'll take that bet every year. I'll take that bet against the rams right now. Would vegas give me even money on a 5k bet where they get the rams and I get the other 31 teams to win the SB?

This is why I believe that Jerry sold this franchise's soul to the devil in the early 90s for those SBs. But sheer dumb luck we should have gone farther in the playoffs over the last 30 years than we have, so the only explanation is cosmic.

So, yeah it’s an easy bet for him to place that the cowboys won’t be the one team to win. Jerry makes his job easier given how the cowboys haven’t been able to compete for a title for 30 years now.

I like Smith, he’s quite good at politics too. He has ruled out a run but I believe he would have been competitive.

Stephen A. reminds me somewhat of Howard Cosell. Both kinda blowhards. Both sports commentators but they only scratch the surface of sports. They never get too deep. Really, they are more like entertainers. And I think both have more interest in politics than they do/did have in sports.

With that said, I was always entertained by Howard and Stephen A makes me chuckle too.

Literally, all he ever talks about. For someone that whines that we're "nauseating", he is nauseously obsessed with us. It's been old for 20 years. Aside from that, he can be entertaining, but he needs to give it a rest with us.

Except, I don't think there are many Cowboys fans (besides ScooterMagurder) who genuinely think we're going to win the Super Bowl every year. It'd be nice if it happened, but I don't know how many fans actually thought it was "our year" the last two years or so, at the very least.

Exactly, except somehow it's bad when we are hopeful we will have a good season. Somehow 31 teams are allowed to hope for a good playoff run, but when a Cowboys fan thinks we're going to have a good season, then we're "delusional" or "nauseating". It's ridiculous

Agree with all the comments and yes, many teams do have things go wrong but this phrase was built on the 3 consecutive twelve win seasons when we should have absolutely gone past the divisional round at least 1 time but always fund a way to fail

People watch what's on TV.

If the media git together and decided to make a circus out of the Jacksonville Jaguars, people would watch.

The only difference is, the Jags owner probably wouldn't do everything in his power to keep the drama going, like our creepy, wrinkly liver spotted owner does.

This is Loser Mentality 101.

Look at our own division.

The Giants were rolling along one year, and lightningstrikes and they lose their franchise QB and Jeff Hostetler has to take over. But they don't succumb to loser mentality and BOOM.....SuperBowl win.

The dam Eagles are rolling along with their frontrunner MVP QB 7 or 8 years ago...just one loss with the 1 seed locked up. They FINALLY look like their ship had come in....and then disaster strikes and they lose the MVP franchise QB...and lowly Nick Foles has to take over. They refused to be rolling bed of their Destiny though, and BOOM, SuperBowl win.

We lose an offensive lineman, or a so so linebacker, and we run the white flag up and surrender, making excuses the whole way before we even have to...

Loser Mentality dooms you before the injuries even happen. Until the franchise gets rid of that.... 30 years will turn into 40.. into 50. Etc.

If you don't have the fortitude to overcome injuries in the first place, then you aren't built to win anything meaningful even if you get lucky and have perfect health.

At least that's the hope.
And change equals consistently deep playoff runs every year.
