Even if he does he knows he would have to go to another team to get a job like that. Iron fist Jerry is taking that role to the grave with him.As if McClay or anyone besides Stephen and Jerry does anything anyways.
McClay wants no part of a real GM job.
They've consistently failed in the post season for 29 years. Sounds like they have the continuity part down.I support continuity. You ride this success out for as long as you can.
McClay won't even interview for real GM jobs.Even if he does he knows he would have to go to another team to get a job like that. Iron fist Jerry is taking that role to the grave with him.
Maybe he just likes his job, likes the area, likes his pay. Not everyone wants to be a GM. If Jerry had made him GM years ago, he'd have been fired before now.McClay won't even interview for real GM jobs.
He's comfortable being Jerry yes man.

Don't worry. Our first-round pick will be someone we had slotted much higher on our board. In fact, we may end up with at least three first-round values. So no changes in the GM, Director of Personnel, VP of Personnel, the scouting staff or the coaches and things are tight this year with the cap.
Cowboys!
Lol lol lol lol lolWhy change when you’re winning 4 wild card games in 29 years?
Winner winner chicken dinner. No reason for change if it’s working…..
That may be true. The last two drafts have brought us Mazi Smith and Tyler Guyton in the first rounds, and a tight end we haven't used much and an end who had no sacks in the second. The resume is looking a little light at the moment.I'm not sure Will McClay is as sought after considering recent events. He may be a lot easier to retain than he was last time around.
