You are eternally optimistic and only see the negative when you have to accept it was there. I don't remember you thinking last year was lame duck going into the season. Now, we're going into a new season and you are all bright lights again.

I'm glad that works for you, but it doesn't mean the rest of us are going to buy into it until we see it. I want all of our moves to work out, but it rarely works that way, especially with the cheap ones. We'll see how it goes.

No one cares about the amount as much as that the owner/GM thinks Dak is worth what he’s being paid. This is the guy who makes decisions that effect the team’s ability to compete. The concern is what other decisions is he involved in that are similarly imprudent.

It’s salary plus endorsements. But his salary is the highest of any player in the four major American leagues. Cristiano Ronaldo is the only athlete with a higher salary. And that’s because he’s being paid Saudi blood money.

I thought they would sign Henry. When they didn't do that it showed that they were kind of tanking the season to be in better position to build this season, which is what they are doing.

Yes. Of course. Check any team’s fan forum. This is the time of year every NFL fan base thinks their favorite team is in a better situation to compete compared to last season. The problem is all 32 teams are. Not just the Cowboys.

I like our off season. I know we didn’t fill every hole but we filled some with quality players. Pickens is gonna help a lot. I expect another player or two to be added. Someone will get cut who’s cheap or maybe Kendrick gets a call

Not signing Henry wasn’t about tanking. Tanking woukd be a plan and Jerry is more of a wing it guy. If they were tanking Rush would have been the backup
