He is really missed when he was in training camp last year we heard how good he was covering tight ends and running backs. Because as of right now we are very average to poor in that department. Or ILB are not good in coverage and they are slow. Stephen Hodge would be an upgrade in linebacker coverage as of right now but him being injured (tough injury). What is the news on him anyway?

I think the injury really set him back.

If he wasn't such a special teams star, I think the coaches would have gave up on him already.

sucks because the team seemed really high on him for his work ethic and character.

Then why not bring back Barbie? I hate to say this but he was at least good at covering TEs and RBs. We let him go to keep all these great young LBs and none of them sniffs the field except Butler. What happened to finding a role for these young players so they can contribute?
