Stephen: I don't see us moving up in the draft but we could move down

Would the Cowboys have won 3 super bowls without a dominant defense?

Get Jeanty if you want but he in no way helps fix a defense which is a long ways from dominant.
You beat me to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The DLine is what led us to 3 super bowls. Actually, all 5 wins as well as the losses. The DLine is the most important factor for super bowls, after QB of course.

@big dog cowboy This isn't too realistic, but just what if we used our ground game to our advantage. We ground and pound, tire teams out, and our defense has to come on the field less. They should be fresher as opposed to us lighting the score board up and having them come right back out on the field

Just a thought

We already know that team has to take as much as possible off Dak's plate. Make it the dumbest down offense in the league. I mean middle school level. The new coaches are going to emphasize the run to help with that. One reason I am opposed to a WR at 12 and want 2 RB's drafted. The worst kept secret in the league is the Cowboys have to keep Dak in the 20-25 pass attempts range each game. Once he goes above that, the win percentage drops with each attempt.

Ehhh…so let me ask this…do we get those SBs without Emmitt? I kind of think it’s a collective effort. You need all
The above.

Sucks we have to feel this way about someone in their what 9th year?? Someone who's the highest paid QB in the league, this is insane!!!!!!

He was drafted in 2023 lol…..

We make some dumb moves yes but trading for Lance wasn’t one.
Lance wasnt a dumb move?

They traded for a guy who Kyle Shanahan couldn't coach.

Who never played.

Who is now on another team. Go look it who was drafted in the 4th last year.

How is it not a dumb move?

You have to forgive the one-trick ponies.
Who is a one trick pony?

I loved a few of our moves this offseason.

Because I believe we have already seen Mingo's best I am a one trick pony? LOL.

Rambo is the one who has one trick.

Defend defend defend.

You don't know **** about Mingo. You get to watch him for 2 more years. You stop it.
I know he has done nothing since he was drafted. And he was overdrafted. And if he were in this years draft with his tape so far in the NFL.

He would be a UDFA.

Show me where I am wrong.

You don't know ****. You could actually look him up to see how long he has played in the league before running your stupid mouth with your ignorant ideas.

I mean in hindsight yes it was dumb. Because it didn’t work out.

And we can sit here and say Kyle got rid of him but he was also the one who signed off on 3 first round picks.

49ers traded Lance because he was the only backup they could get value for. No one was trading for Darnold at the time.

If the Cowboys refuse to trade a 4th round pick for a former 3rd overall pick that was 22? They would be fools.

What was dumb was not playing him.

Even if I am off for a year.

2 years of NFL tape vs his college tape.

Ill take the NFL tape against NFL competition. And he hasnt shown anything since being drafted.

To me that makes it worse, Kyle signed off on 3 first round picks for him and then seeing him for less then 2 years dumped him for anything he could get. That is Kyle admitting they made a huge mistake.

Then we saw him and did not keep him and traded for another QB.

Well I think it was easy to get rid of him because of Purdy. If they didn’t get Purdy do they have more patience with Lance? I think so.
