Stephen: I don't think we're done along the front seven

“Not done yet” having ‘done’ absolutely nothing?

Well, im stoked
Exactly !!! WTH is he talking about? They've added NOTHING. Retaining your own guys does not IMPROVE the team. Shouldn't the goal be to IMPROVE the team, not keep it exactly as it was last year. Why is it the people in charge of an NFL franchise are completely clueless? How is that even possible?

Demarcus Walker, Jack Sanborn, EJ Speed a few names to watch
Right. We are set to possibly lose three DEs (Lawrence, Golston, Lawson), two DTs (Joseph, Watkins) and an LB (Kendricks). We will need bodies to fill those spots.

The only one I expect to be filled with more than just a JAG is Kendricks' spot. Eberflus is going to want a legit LB to replace him. By legit, I mean someone who is starting-caliber, even if he is in decline or has only been a part-time starter.

Sanborn would make a lot of sense. Depending on how much Eberflus plans to play Parsons at LB, Speed might make sense too with Overshown probably at least starting the year on PUP.

Looking for anything to be hopeful for I noticed Stephen at least acknowledges in this interview that they need to do more up front on defense after re-signing Osa.

Of course he could just be talking about the draft but I'm desperate here. I'll settle for the fact he at least sees the need.

He "thinks"....

It seems he doesnt have the ability to learn from his mistakes.

When ever had something good come out of you trying to "think"?
Why not change your approach?

Which means we'll go RB/CB/WR(sub injured LB for any of the 3)
Well if history is a point of reference you’ll most likely be correct

Hard to tell . The only thing I’m sure about is it won’t be a qb early which is ok this isn’t a good qb draft on paper

And the following season, along with the O-Line. We’re several years out. We should be the top 5 in the draft at least one of the next 3 years. Gotta make a move to get the most important position on the field. I like a couple guys this year in rounds 2-3 round.
Front 7 to me is in much worse shape then our OL. OL needs development and some veteran leadership. Defense have question marks at LE, NT and both Mike/Will linebackers.

woohoo, which garbage useless and JAG DT are we going to sign in the 7th wave of FA? get me excited stephen!!!!go boy

Gholston played really well at the end of the season. I would like to bring him back. Gholston was excellent at setting the edge.
I know, I am surprising myself with my gut feeling about Golston. In his rookie year I thought he was a total loss. But He has gotten a little better every year and last year he came on at the end. I think he may be the one guy to have a breakout year this year. When good things happened, he seemed to be around the ball a lot. I just don't think Dallas will sign him.

I've been watching videos of all these DTs in the draft and I have to say some look really good. At the same time, what they post are highlights or maybe 15 plays out of 500 snaps. Still some stand out.

I want Dallas to take at least 2 DTs, one early and one later. If they take 3, I won't be disappointed.

Yeah his price tag will be a little out of the Cowboys price range plus I actually think Kneeland and Sam Williams can take up his snaps. Just liked how the kid got better year after year.

Hey everyone. We are looking at DL at 12 so make sure you trade in front of us and take a guy if you want him
And we'll only have top 5 talent Mason Graham and Abdul Carter on our draft board and they'll both be gone so it's back to CBs and such.

If they take 1 in the first two rounds I'll be shocked.
