Stephen Jones has always said free agency is 24/7

The Coog doesn't sleep. He waits.
Why sleep when you can wait up all night long for the call you've wanted all your life!!!!!! Phone ring and the TOP mod on here saying "Coog, you may enter mod-world!!!!!!" Maybe then i'll sleep, but sleep is overrated these days while I wait!!

But they're seemingly only worried about the draft and getting comp picks. So in essence free agency is more so like 48 hours and that's it because we build through the draft. It's time for Stephen to use another line! It seems like they over value comp picks, what player did we pick with a comp pick that was really beneficial to our roster?? Please give your thoughts
he said while sipping his whiskey on the Jones Yacht..... and we signed nothing but grabage and JAGs

All the comp pick picks since 14

If they were concerned over comp picks, they would not have signed all these platers, more than usual. Draft picks, well they traded away 3 picks, got 2 in return along with 2 players that could be good contributors, and possibly start.

The fans, or some fans are the ones that seem to worry, over nothing at times. Sometimes it is warranted.

Looks ta most teams they have not done anything since the 1st wave either. And many teams done far less than Dallas has.

Dak was a comp pick by the way. And he turned out pretty decent. Not elite, but not horrible.

We will get two if they dont do any big signings

I think there are trades to be made along with FA. Looking at Dallas and the RB situation why wouldn't they of done what Minnesota did. Go and and get Jordan Mason. Dude was a steal and has low mileage on him. Hard physical runner!
It didn't even cost Minnesota that much. A 6th round pick and swapping 5th round picks. Signed for like 12 mil 2 years.
That's what I would consider budget shopping but getting a starter.

Right. And I do not think there are any FA's out there left to be considered a big signing.
We have about 8 FA's left, and none of those will get a big enough contract to give us a 3rd and 4th comp pick.

Unless some team overpays for Kendricks or Cooks or even Lance, which all are very doubtful. It would take around $5 million to $6 million per yer.

I'm surprised they didn't try to bring back Kendricks. I thought he played well last year. I guess, maybe, they don't think he's a good fit for Eberflus' defense?

Very possible, and most likely. With signing and trading for Sanborn and Murray. That pretty much says no Kendricks. Unless the draft does not fall their way to select a potentially better LB, and they bring him back later.

Maybe they think Overshown will be ready as well.

6 million dollars is like 6 billion to this front office
