Hurns or not, he's down the depth chart.
The WR situation is so far ahead of last year.
Both the #1 and #2 WRs are way better than last spring, and could be one of the better tandems in the league.

I read an article today talking about the Saints might be licking their chops if Beasley is released. He would be perfect for Breese.

This is a surprise. Hurns contract would need to be greatly reduced to justify bringing him back coming off his injury and at his cap #.

However #17 does fit a need for a WR that can play inside out to go with Coop n Gallup.

Cowboys save 5M by cutting Hurns.
Hurns cap figure is 6.25M.

Save 5M and draft a guy for under 1M...simple decision.
