O-line
La'el Collins at RT and looking good. Stephen thinks there's a real chance that the oline is improved overall, but at the very least does not fear a drop-off. They think Cooper has greatly benefited by being in this group.
Glad Stephen agrees with me.

Brown isn't going to be the 6th WR. They are wanting him to be a hybrid WR/TE/H-back...that is why Stephen was talking about his blocking. With Hanna and Swaim with injury concerns he adds a lot. He is faster, a better receiver, and a better ST player too.

105.3 The Fan had a fairly long interview with Stephen Jones today.
I was in the car, but here is some of what I can recall

D-line
They feel very deep on the dline and may end up keeping 10. 6 of them may be DEs.
Very excited about Malik Collins. But overall they see less and less drop-off in the overall rotation.

O-line
La'el Collins at RT and looking good. Stephen thinks there's a real chance that the oline is improved overall, but at the very least does not fear a drop-off. They think Cooper has greatly benefited by being in this group. (Guess we'll see on that one)

Dak.
Of course, he raved about Dak's leadership qualities and work ethic.
Asked what Dak needs to work on and he said "everything". He said Dak would be the very last person to say he as fully arrived-which is great to hear. He knows all the areas he must improved on and that D-coordinators will know the areas that they can capitalize on.
Stephen thinks Dak could easily be better this year as a player, (but maybe not reflected stats wise).

Secondary
Loves the depth but say we can't anoint any of these young guys. But they think the depth could be good.
Like most out there, he brought up how great the WRs are in the NFC East...and now they are bigger as well.

WR
Good group of Dez-TWill-Beaz should be better with Switzer. He then added that Noah Brown's blocking reminds them Dwayne Harris--which is outstanding praise. He said Zeke pushed for him and they're glad they got him.
Excellent Recap sir! Thanks for sharing.

It seems the cry outside of Dallas (mostly from Giants, Skins and Eagles country) is that the gap has closed between those teams and Dallas, largely to the "drop off" at OL for Dallas.

I tend to think that's wishful thinking. For one, it's hard to imagine an OL that has arguably the best LT, C and OG in football would go from being great to blah because you had to replace an underperforming RT and a good LG. Second, people seem to forget that Collins was thought of as a first round RT talent. If he's as good as his scouting reports coming out of college showed, this OL might very well be better than last year's.

If you are getting elite play at LT, C and RG along with good play at RT, frankly, if you get even average play from your LG, you are going to have a dominant OL.
I'm reading and seeing differently:

From what I've read and seen from the various comparisons being generated out on the behalf of our NFCE foes it is predominantly focused on how each team has added receivers that could potentially take advantage of our overall youth in the secondary...namely the Eagles and Giants.

The Commanders both added and lost receivers so that could be a wash, but Cousins proved he can win with less so I wouldn't count any of our NFCE foes out.

The offensive line could be better than last year!

Put that to music and it is a number 1 hit.
