And that's why Tyler should be LG for now. It doesn't make any sense to make Steele a LG when he plays on the right side. Broaddus even claims that he doubts Steele could handle the powerful DTs at OG. Spagnola talked to Steele and he didn't act like he's moving to LG. He is ahead of schedule though.

Agreed. The Cowboys and their starting 5 are in agreement and are satisfied. It's certain fans who are stubbornly in denial. lol

Anyone who knows anything about our personnel knows that’s the top 5. Those thinking one of these guys would not play for a lesser player to take his place was nuts.

As far as Steele’s injury is concerned, that video in March is clear and obviously showing that he’s going to be a go for camp let alone week 1. Keep in mind Gallup said he couldn’t walk this time last year. Steele months ago was doing full on kick slides.

The key here is Waletzko. Tyron will likely be hurt at some point. From what the team, media sources, and limited snaps have showed they’re really high on him and are confident he can be a dependable swing T.

If so, then you now have 4 highly capable OT’s and solid IOL depth with Chuma/Farniok. Throw in Richards and whomever shows up from the rest of them and you’re as deep most of the teams in the league with a starting group better than most.

The only IF here is Waletzko in my opinion. IF he’s as good as they think (and we’ve been good at evaluating/developing OL under Mike) then I’m not worried about the OL. In fact, I’d be excited about the OL.

They better be better than great. Great is another first round exit. Have to make up for the inadequacy in other areas.
