I was going to say.....

Zack Martin needs to retire so the Cowboys can replace him by trading with the Chiefs for Trey Smith.

He's not a "Ty" something but how can you not consider his last name? Think of all the confusion in the booth with three starters along the Cowboys O-line with the name T. Smith.

In Tyron's first five seasons he missed one games or 1.2%.

In his last five seasons he missed 36 games or 45%.

That's almost half of the games that Tyron has missed over the past 5 seasons.

That is his trend, the past five seasons and not the first five seasons.

Stephen needs to determine the best six O-linemen because that sixth guy is going to be extremely relevant for about half the season.

 Denial is the organization relying on Tyron Smith to remain healthy.
They aren't going to go into the season without backups or an inability to adjust if needed. He's on the team, and he's a better player than whoever they could put on the line in his place, so why not use him for however long he is healthy?

Best five on the field starting,,, and from all vibes that tends to suggest Terrence Steele at LG.. if not Tyler Smith at LG.

But that also means Steele (coming off and recovering from major ACL injury) will have to be trained/coached up to learn OG this summer. .

Stephen is looking a lot older. He is aging fast. That hair is snow white. Too bad he is not getting any wiser.....

They need to play it safe and have Steele next to Martin and do what he's done best. They are getting too cute having him at guard.

Thank you very much, Nostradumb*ss. .....don't take a biomedical engineer with a minor in macro-economical statistics who happens to dabble in a bit of astrology to figure that out. The real issue, and real problem, to be dealt with will be when the proverbial feces hits the oscillator in TC. And that's besides the Tyron annual hiatus. You know what the great and wise philosopher Mike Tyson once said.

Great post. And that was 2 months ago. And it's 3+ more months until training camp.
Actually it's about 2+ months, last year camp started July 27th, same date this year would be 10 weeks.

Still, good news he's working out already....

The only question is if Waletzko and if he can be a quality swing.
They seem to believe Matt can do the job, but if he can't Tyler can always kick back out to LT and Tyron to RT, if need be. I bet Waletzko will be able to perform as a Swing.

Yeah, I think there's too much mental gymnastics going on when ppl think about the OL, it's going to be simple and similar to last season imo.

The questions will come from the backups and can they fill in adequately. Richards, Farniok, Edoga, Lindstrom, Ball, and Bass are the guys they have to find out about.
