he has no explanation why the turnovers are not there. Marinelli coaches it constantly.

Probably the most concerning thing in the entire organization. Our de facto GM has no clue as to why we cannot create turnovers.

That pretty much says it all. Exactly what I expected and how the team should look at Hardy, Beasley, Harris, etc.

How can you say that the team should look at Beas as the returner? All does is fair catch and even that he did not do at the most crucial time in the game

This team has ignored STs to its detriment for years

Why does Beas get a pass while Lucky gets banished from duties after one fumble in preseason?

Lucky has way more upside as a returner.

Good question. I've tried to think of a worse punt returner in cowboy history, Crayton was decent compared to Beasley. He is a zero threat back there

You know one of Church or Wilcox is struggling bad when Heath is brought up as an option for playing at safety.

Heath played some snaps when Church was out of the game for several snaps.

Beas doesn't need to be returning punts period.

It's one fumble. It's not as if Harris never botched a punt.

If Whitehead is comfortable doing it fine but don't force that decision based on 1 muffed punt by Beasley.

Romo returns and Garrett may be iin serious consideration for coach of the year.

I have nothing against Beaz nor am I upset with his muff. He just isn't effective as a PR.

Agree, but 1 muff does not mean that he is likely to do it again.

If they have a better option fine, but Harris often didn't do much more than just catch the punt last season.

If they throw Lucky in before he is ready that would be worse than having Beasley just fair catch it.

He simply looks timid back there. I haven't compared him to Harris or any one else. Beasly just doesn't look comfortable to me.
That isn't a good thing.

Company line, what is he supposed say.

Get real. He is the Company. How do some people live a in world of conspiracy ALL the time.

I basically got 2 hours of sleep last night living and dying with the agony of defeat in my tossing and turning. What do you think the people who are putting their body and money on the line day in and day out are going through? And 80% of the stuff I read is questioning their integrity.

I was primarily talking about what he said regarding the Hardy incident.

However, with Beasley, I trust him more to not fumble a punt, than I do Lucky. Remember Harris last year nearly costing Dallas the Seattle game with a muffed punt? It happens to all of them.

Having said that, I don't think Beasley is going to break many long runs so I agree that they need a more dynamic player back there for punts. At this point, it looks like it will be Beasley or Lucky back there. I still do trust Beasley more but I'd love to see Whitehead run a few back.
