Good lord how much posturing and nonsense does there have to be over this? I usually hear of other teams just signing players. I don't usually hear every player, GM, and coach on the team being interviewed regarding the possibility of signing said player. Either do it or don't. Quit talking about it.

You don’t hear it from other teams because you don’t follow the other teams and their beat reporters. It’s not that big of a deal.

Just me, but I think it's a done deal unless OBJ doesn't want to come here. I starting tp wonder if they see him as COOP replacement/type impact w/o giving a pick or costing 20m. We all know Jerry talks when no talking is needed but when last you heard Stephen boldly say he's going after a player. I'm starting to think they will offer him everything he wants within reason and yes. a multi-year deal, most likely three years, backloaded.

Wouldn’t say you’re wrong.

Although there’s a huge difference between making yourself available for questions only at the required times vs seeking out media because you like to hear yourself talk.

LOL -- to be totally honest, I'm thinking we have about as much of a chance of getting OBJ as a snowball in hades!
Seems quite likely to me that if Jerry doesn't find a way to mess things up, Stephen would make sure to lowball him.
