Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones when asked on @1053thefan about a large number of Saints fans attending last Sunday’s game at AT&T Stadium and a similar expectation this Sunday with Ravens fans:

“Well, it happens. You don’t love it but I also understand people don’t get here very often. We haven’t played the Saints here a lot in this building. Of course, it’s an easy ride for a lot of Saints fans that are right across the way in Louisiana, so we know on occasion that’s going to happen. Obviously we prefer to have everybody sitting in that (stadium) a Cowboys fan.

“We’re certainly the beneficiary of that on the road most of the time, in terms of having large percentages of Cowboys fans in opposing teams’ stadiums. Understand it. Every now and then you’re going to have these teams that haven’t been to AT&T Stadium much and want to experience North Texas and what AT&T Stadium is about. If we had our preference, honestly, no, I’d like 100% of them to be Cowboys fans, but also know that can be unrealistic.”

The teams can't control, nor the fans, that sell them on the secondary market, and who buys them.
You can't say ... only a Cowboys fan (or whatever team) can buy them... I would not doubt if some people buy tickets, then themselves turn around and try to make a profit from them.

I can't see as many Ravens fans taking over the stadium as the Saints fans did. Saints closer proximity to make that drive. And many transplants are here as well.
3 friends of mine are Saints fans.

The Cowboys are a draw for some reason. I would expect opposing fans to buy tickets and try to watch games against Dallas.

I live in NJ. I've been to a few Cowboys Giants games in the past, but in the cold weather in an outdoor stadium it is a miserable experience. I am sure it is very different at AT&T stadium.

Facts. I live in NJ and the December games are just miserable. The whole time I’m thinking, “Where’ s my remote?”

The best Cowboys game I went to was at the Meadowlands opening game against the Jets….when Romo threw a late pick. Anyway, it was warm and balmy.

I just got $10,875 for my 8k PSL's. I couldn't care less who goes to those games, anymore. Ha!!
I broke even on mine, and was happy about it. Never regretted it for a second. It was like winning the lotto. A guy in Seattle bought them. Or that was where I had to send the tickets to. When they had paper tickets. In 2016. As he wanted to buy them also, at face value, and the parking.
My 2 seats were $32,000 total.

What I found really weird was when I went to the Cowboys game against Denver a few years back. Of course, I saw lots of Orange in the stands!! But the weird thing was when I saw a group of people wearing cheeseheads and Packers jerseys!! We weren't even playing the packers!! Oh well. Maybe it's more common than I think. I don't know.

Well done.

Myself, I only attend road games even though I live in Frisco.

The stadium is 15 years old and has a handful of great memories. But seems to be known more for invading fans taking over. I fear what the Texans games is going to look like.

Laughing all the way to the bank as usual. No one takes Nepo-baby seriously. He's only in the position he is because of Papa. No ONE on earth would really hire him to run a football team, maybe not even a lemonade stand.

As long as they pay for the ticket parking and food the Jones are thrilled to have them .

I remember a SF playoff game against the Seahawks where they only allowed people with California zip codes to buy tickets. Thats one way to minimize it, but I don’t know if the Jones’ would risk the potential not to sell out if they tried that for regular season games

At least the opposing fans will help keep the stadium full.

I went to a few December games and was so cold I thought I would freeze in a sitting position. One time someone spilled hot chocolate on the lady next to me (she was wearing a fur cot!) I was was wishing it was me!
