That crossed my mind at the time. Many around here were like ‘what do you have to lose’ by playing Lance.

What exactly did they have to gain?

They would have been allowing him to raise his price for himself is all, and part of why that trade never made any sense.

I was actually hoping the reason why Lance was not playing was because he was bad but he did as well against Washington as Rush has played in the previous few games without CeeDee. It bothers me that the Joneses are playing games like that. It goes to show that Jerry made the trade for Lance without consulting anyone because he was trying to force Dak’s hand. Management is the big issue with our franchise.

Lol I'm someone hoping they wont restructure his contract so they can get out of his deal after this season. I was hoping they wouldn't extend him last offseason at all. I'm pretty far from a Dak fan aside from the fact that he is a Cowboy.

You can knock a lot about Dak, but how do you call a guy who has 30,000+ career yards, a 66% completion percentage, and 200+ TDs over drafted as a 4th rounder and should have been a 6th rounder or UDFA? Completely ridiculous take that just makes you look like a troll, and discredits actual unbiased issues people have with Dak.

Even pre draft in 2016 people were talking about him as a day 2 pick . Had it not been for the DUI he probably wouldn't have dropped to the Cowboys. Here is a fantastic pre draft write up on Dak

You should follow all my post to educate yourself about not only the QB position but all football in general. I know your type. I’ve dealt with them in not only football but in all male and female sports. You can only judge a player by what you read and see in a stats column. You’ve never played, coached or scouted any team in any sport. Were you 1st or 2nd chair in your HS band?

Well I hope your football knowledge is stronger than your insult game, because that was pretty weak....band? really? Just a lame insult with no actual substance to support your Dak take?

If you ever want to have a serious football discussion instead of just throwing around generic trollish comments at players you don't like I'd be more than happy to be included.
