Cooper had to go. Wagner wasn't coming I don't care who says what now, Henry wasn't going to get big bucks here (they only added Zeke because he was cheap, I still don't think he will get the most carries this year), the DL FA's weren't going to get the big bucks here........

Not trying to defense the Jones clan but the examples you provide aren't great ones. This off season they are in a salary cap reset meaning no big contracts will be given.

What will the Cowboys do next off season is the big question.

Then tell us we are in a salary cap reset. Don't pretend that we are being judicious in FA and that we are "saving" space because we have to sign all these guys. Nothing is preventing them from resigning Dak or Lamb.

They are being cheap in FA. It's just that simple. It's not about a salary cap reset or anything like that. They've been cheap in FA for a decade now since Carr. They are just using Lamb and Parsons and Dak as excuses for why they weren't that active in FA this offseason.
