I honestly don't care if they wait until the offseason to resign Dez. They always have the option to franchise him while they are negotiating a long term deal so I just don't care that much.

He isn't leaving Dallas unless the Cowboys want him to.

Nobody knows what Dez is asking. Dez has very high opinion of himself so it wouldn't surprise me if he is asking 16-17 million a year. I wouldn't pay him more than 13 million a year. Dallas has alot of depth at WR and could survive without him. I know Dez numbers look really good (especially in red zone) but I still don't consider him a game changer because I haven't seen him take over games yet. I would sit tight and see what he does this year. If he demonstrates self control on field, ranks in top 5 stats and singularly takes over a game or two...then sit down with him in off-season and work it out.

You must either not have watched the Cowboys in the past 4 years or just don't understand the game if you come away thinking Dez is not a game changer.

Ummm I can agree with some of this, but saying Dez isnt a game changer is a joke. I personally think without him we would have probably finished the season with 3 less wins last season. Not to mention the fact that he lined up in the same spot week in week out and teams figured out to double cover the outside and it was over. With linehan and moving him around hes going to be a beast. IMO

90% garbage in this post. The only true part was that nobody knows what he is asking.

Dez had a bunch of monster games that we shoulda won but the defense was wet tissue paper and we lost at the end. Detroit, Denver,kc and Greenbay all come to mind. Don't blame dez for the defense laying down.

You can't argue against an Agenda. Save yourself the headache

Also...Philly. Didn't he come out in the second and just dominate in that first possession for like 40-50 yards on one td scoring drive? And he ended up with over 100 in that game i'm sure.

This would be easy to verify, but like you said...an agenda is really being pushed here.

Dez is a touchdown machine. They need to get his deal done as soon as possible.

Stephen is posturing and placating.

That Tyron deal didn't do Dez any favors. He'll look greedy if he doesn't take a reasonable deal now.

How difficult was it to sign Dez to his rookie contract?

He'll get a boatload of money from them.
