I dont know why anybody is surprised. This was obviously a soft-rebuilding year. As stupid as they are, they know this team is nowhere good enough to contend

This should have been a hard rebuilding year though, not sure how you soft rebuild with the 3 albatross salaries we are going to be stuck with for the next number of years

I have to think given the increase in current contracts and adding in huge deals for Parsons and Tyler Smith, that money will quickly be gone.

You are probably right but notice they did nothing to replace the defensive starters we lost. Just my take but they are using this year to assess which young players have a chance as starters and hit on as many 2025 draft picks.

But it appears they decided Dak, Lamb, Parsons and Tyler are the core going forward. This is what I think meant with his "all in" ......the future built around these players ( lot of money/cap space ).
