Will anyone with sports media access to Stephen Jones approach Jones again and ask him why George Pickens didn't show up like he was quoted here saying IF that does happen? Don't say what the player will do. Should have learned that lesson with the Micah Parsons fiasco.

According to Stevie, there is no advantage to getting a deal done as opposed to playing on the tag. The cap savings is meaningless. They can still do what they need to do.

Pickens was in a contract year in 2025 and supposed to be on his best behavior. Yet he was fined multiple times. The FO would be making the right move (cant believe I am saying this) by tagging him until they figure out the correct move. I don't believe a long term, big money, guaranteed deal is the correct move in this case.
