Because of his knee injury there has been talk that Paea could slip all the way to our 2nd Round pick. He's a big time talent and a tremendous value at that point, I have a hard time seeing us passing on him if he's there.

if he's healthy and
if the coaches plan to move Ratliff to DE (just looked at a roster on NFL.com that already did that) and
if he's available

I would applaud that pick

I really love Paea but I think he's a 43 3 technique.

I don't see any reason why he couldn't play NT in a 3-4, his game is controlling the LOS.

Well, he's 6'1 303 lbs. and I don't believe he is going to get a lot bigger or stronger. He is very strong now but that frame, IMO, is not going to hold a great deal more. His biggest strength is quickness. In a 3-4 like Phillips', he is probably ideal. However, in a traditional 34, which is what Ryan will play more of, his job is going to be one of eating blocks. I just don't think he will hold up in that role.

I prefer Kendrick Ellis unless Phil Taylor falls to #40.

Yes
Taylor at 40
Ellis at 71
Williams in the 4th
or Nield in the 5th

we can find a run stuffing NT in this draft.

Piea is a good play but isn't bug enough to be a effective 2 gap NT and isn't tall or long enough to be a 5 tech 3-4 DE. he is either a one gap or 3 tech DT.

Marvin Austin is an interesting player. If not for the baggage, he would probably be a 1st round pick.

he would be for a 4-3 team

Are you thinking of Paea as a DE or to rotate in at NT? He's a little undersized for NT, but his strength really makes up for it.

Depends on who's the first pick,

Also like Phil Taylor and Kenrick Ellis

Your "Logan's Draft" would be great; however, I think Ellis could go as early as mid 2nd round and I would be shocked if he lasted past the 3rd.
.
I like all of the other picks.

With his character concerns and his weight issues, I don't see him going in the 2nd but it only takes 1 team to like u there so anything is possible.

I just see him falling to the 4th just my opinion

Are you saying that a roster on a website in April determines what position a player plays in the fall?

you didn't look at the roster like I said
whats the difference in a roster and depth chart. He they have him at NT on the depth chart then thats where he is playing.

NT, I don't really have a concern with his size because judging by film he does an excellent job of holding his ground against double teams. It's easy to look at his height/weight and write him off but his play on the field says otherwise.

yeah, no

Love the player but a horrible fit at NT or DE for a 3-4 team.
