Agree 100%. In contract situations they should say nothing during any negotiations with any player other than “We’re working on it.” Period.

They should shut up until a deal is done or they have moved on.

What? Pickens needs to be traded before the draft. It has nothing to do with how the draft falls.

Alec Pierce will sign before him, and JSN will sign before him, and Puka will sign before him, and then Pickens’ number will balloon. Just like Dez and just like Ceedee and just like Amari who all went down to the wire.

I’m not making fun, There has to be some logic to treating players like this. I’m genuinely curious on why they do it; there has to be an interesting reason
