Stephen thinks that Dallas Cowboys third-round pick Shavon Revel will start the season on PUP.

He didn't say season.

You have training camp first and Stephen also said he will be on pup until they can get him in there and see where he is at.

Reports are he will be ready by July and Jerry said he is more healthy then the injured corners they already have

Smarter than the rest of the league. Use an early 3rd round pick on an ACL torn CB who is likely to start the season on PUP. It's not like we don't have a need at CB. Let's just use a costly early 3rd rounder. No biggie.
Ochoa quoted him wrong. Stephen didn't say he would start the season on pup.

He is almost 100 percent healthy and already running over 20 mph. I understand he isn't cutting or putting pressure on it, just running on a treadmill.

Its an incorrect tweet.

I’m sure you already know that.
No, I didn't know that. Nor do I care.

How many times has drafting injured players with bad knees worked out for the Cowboys? 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks should be used on healthy players who can contribute right away.

But I'm sure you don't care about all of this. So cheer away.

Grandad --- those ACL tears aren't what it meant to high school losers who got hurt and sit in bars talking about the glory days like you grew up with.

It is an ACL from September -- he was a solid first rounder before that. this isn't nerve damage like Jaylon had. This was a simple injury that 1000s of players come back from.

Grandad? You're older than me.

You still didn't answer my question. How many times has drafting injured players with bad knees worked out for the Cowboys?

It depends on what you consider working out…. Because id say Jaylen Smith worked out. He had a few solid years here. Sean Lee and Bruce Carter as well.

I’d say I’d prefer not to take injured players in the first two rounds….in the 3rd? I say take the shot. I think trading for Elam allows you to take this chance.

I have to say I laughed that things are so bad this is now viewed as a positive:Jerry said he is more healthy then the injured corners they already have

Hard to explain they love it for some reason, team doctor says yes they draft them lol
I think that did have a lot to do with it. I feel better about him coming off the injury with inside information from our doctor. I also feel better it was a 3rd pick as opposed to a 2nd. I’m more excited to take a player graded as a 1st rounder coming off an injury in the 3rd round. 1st and 2nd rounds I want day one starters. Most 3rd rounder don’t start day 1.

I also got more excited about him after hearing an interview on 1053 the fan. He’s a likable guy. Obviously he said he’s good and he’ll be ready so we’ll see what happens. I feel we had a good 2 days of drafting.
