Stephen: We put zero credence into people saying we wait too long to re-sign players

The arrogance is just unbelieably stupid. I mean last offseason may have been the worst in franchise history and that is saying something. And their answer is to go out and sign replacement level players early in FA rather than waiting until after the draft. Do you know how tone deaf you need to be to have that as your answer going into this offseason. Oh yeah, and we still have a dragged out Parsons extension out there.

I do agree with the point that every negotiation is its own animal. Take the Lamb negotiation last year. It came out after he signed that the Cowboys tried to negotiate with him earlier but his agents wanted to wait on the Jefferson deal. Fans got mad at the Joneses for waiting, but it appears that at least to some extent they had to wait.

However, I would think after 30 years of not making an NFC Championship Game, the proper response would be that they look into every suggestion for ways to improve their front office operations. It's not like they can point to any recent success and say, look, our way of doing businesses works.

Yep, and the response was “we won the off-season last year and still didn’t win.”

Won the off-season? What by trading for Cooks and Gilmore?

And the response is to not even try to get better?

Love it when people around here say that fans don’t know anything but these clowns do.

Translation ...

Stephen: "We are smarter than fans!"

Fans: "How many Super Bowls have you won in the last 30 years?"

Stephen: "We put zero credence into your questions!"
Well I mean Parsons was saying that he would not have to be the highest payed a couple of months ago .But now its too late to worry about trying to get a discount. I just can't understand the Jones crew at all.

No better hands after Jerry leaves. Unless they sell the team.

But at that point it'll either be some huge investment team to afford it or some mega rich guy like Bezos
