Stephen: We'll do some dramatic things

For the same price that Derrick Henry originally signed with the Ravens.

Big brain moves happening in Dallas.
You mean the contract he signed nearly two years ago? When most thought he was slowing down? The one that was signed and RB salaries have gone up significantly since with the cap going up at the same time? Making double now? The signing two years ago has no relevance now.

In the past, I would say something like, "Sounds promising!"

Given the last few years of offseason boasts becoming in-season memes, I'll wait to care about their statements until they actually do something to justify it.
Time to start a Poll. :)

Dramatic doesn’t equal good.

How about just doing smart things? I know that’s hard, but just try it.
Yeah before they traded for Q they hinted at a big trade. Well according to Fisher, take that for what it is it’s worth, the big trade was the LBer Logan from Cincinnati. Then Q became available. So I’m a little hesitant to think what “dramatic” means.

Meh I'll believe it when I see it. Two years ago we went all in by doing nothing at all, so...

I have a hard time believing the team is going to suddenly stop pursuing players like Elam and Murray.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Less talk more action. The only encouraging thing is Jerry and Dak are getting old and maybe the Jones are starting to see the writing on the wall that the window, if it was ever open, is closing.
"Less Talk".....and less thinking you're being smart, trying to play hardball with every negotiation. But yes the Jones are starting to take a less hands-on 'we're in charge' impression (eg Schotty and Parker presser....without a Jones)....possibly due to the heat they took last year (Eber, Micah, defensive mess).
They may realise that the next move is a professional GM.

On the "its going to be different this year" debate...so far (and its been a couple weeks only) it has been different...they fired ebersuck and hired a young dynamic DC then cleaned house and let him hire his own staff.

That is different and gives us a glimmer of hope based on action (again in a very short window) to think there is potential this seasons approach truly is different

Bust the budget

When you're usually shopping for a Kia in free agency and this year you're considering a Hyundai.

I dont believe these two for one second that they're going to be playing at the top of the FA market.

Man I feel bad for you when this goes exactly how I think it will

Dramatic?? So, instead of ping pong tournaments, they will be performing Broadway plays in the locker room as a new way to instill culture! :muttley:

I can’t wait for the record prediction poll to see the same ole names predicting 11 or 12 wins like they do every single year regardless of what the Cowboys do or don’t do this offseason.

Whats funny is that people think I DONT WANT them to change. I am hoping for a good offseason.

I just dont trust this FO. And they have given me zero reason to.
