I really can't understand with the state of our secondary why we have not signed Stefan Gilmore.

He played well for Minnesota last year and we are in need of serious help.

I mean how many weeks are we going to be forced to watch trayvon diggs be lit up and torched he has to be suffering third degree burns at this point.

Not saying that Gilmore is the answer to all our problems but he could make watching this defensive cluster schmuck a little less painful.

Anybody else in agreement or have any other constructive ideas

If he wanted to sign he would have already, he sees this team and the struggles it has and probably says no I'll just wait for a playoff contender

Why are people obsessed with 35 year old Gilmore?

The guy is cooked, he can’t run, he’s done.
Nobody's obsessed but we are kind of out of options here everybody's hurt Diggs has not recovered to the point of being able to play at the level he once did or even close.

Who wins a 40-yard dash between Diggs and Gilmore at this point.
I'd like to see it I know Daryl green was fast forever . Just thinking Gilmore may have enough left in the tank to get us over the hump till people get healthy.

At this point I'm not even talking about this signing in the light of making us competitive to win just a little less painful to watch.

I don't know about you guys but this secondary is pushing my pain threshold

It needs to be like this.

The worst the beatings the better.

You want Jerry thinking they’re just a player or two away?

We still in win now mode?

We’re getting ready to be 1-3 and some are looking to improve lolololol
At this point I'm just hoping to lesson the amount of embarrassment I must tolerate while watching this team.

At this point I fully realize that stephon Gilmore is not a game-changing impact player just maybe he is someone a little better than what we have.

Getting beat is one thing but what we have going on in that secondary is humiliating

I promise you being competitive is the worst thing for a Jerry Jones owned team.

I don't even want Jerry thinking. But that's out of my control.

I ask out of any football season anymore from my team is some good football to watch.

Now it's becoming to the point where it's very difficult to watch.

Gilmore hasn't been signed by all 32 teams yet. Let that sink in. Do they all know something we don't? Has he fallen off the cliff? Right now, we just need somebody that knows what they are doing back there.

I get it. It sucks.

But it has to be bad to get better.

I think Gilmore as a veteran possibly Hall of Fame player knows what he's doing back there whether he is physically still capable you could be right he may have fallen off the cliff.

At worst I think he could be a good veteran presence in the locker room and probably be able to give a good bit of constructive knowledge to the young players we have coming up.

That said other than waiting for our draft pick to become healthy and hope he plays like a veteran I don't see much else we can do.

Kind of looks like we're going to suffer through watching this secondary get mutilated on a weekly basis

Over the hump? Lmao. Some Dallas fans want Jerry to run it back with the same people every year. As if the final outcome will somehow miraculously change. Definition of insanity.

For what?

Serious question?

He is not that guy any more. Nothing but a progress stopper.

Roll with Carson, Revel, Bland, Butler, new kid Steward, Childress, Rochell. See what they have. Start prepping for 2026 because we aren't winning more by playing Gilmore.

Hard to make predictions in today's NFL but it sure looks like it's going from bad to worse in a hurry.

We have invested in the offensive line. That should be in its prime by the time we get a new Young quarterback on a rookie contract.

We certainly have enough draft picks to get a good quarterback

We have what appears to be a couple good receivers.

I think we have enough pics to get an impact running back and some defensive players.

And as soon as we get rid of Daks contract we can rebuild the defense with some quality free agents.

Unfortunately this is going to take a few years.

The only thing more painful than watching the secondary is waiting for the 60 million of cap space to open up.
