SAS and Cowherd are the same in the sense that they get it. They both have loud opinions about certain players and teams. They're only objective is to get higher ratings based off their bombacity. Right or wrong makes no difference in their world. They are bottom line guys who care about one thing only: RATINGS

He's not an idiot for stating the Obvious. He's an idiot for saying this about the Cowboys when his own team, a team with Offensive issues themselves, have possibly the best Back in the NFL sitting home because they will not do what is necessary to get him on the field. I mean, how stupid to you have to be to sling crap when your own team is possibly even more more stupid then the one you are targeting?

technically the Steers are his team but he follows the giants.. the steelers didnt have many issues last night.. they also at least can put up points , the cowboys just suck on offense right now..its 2015 all over again, muster some running game but cant pass block or pass when blocked..cant deny Dak is playing like Castle and weeden..turible..

But why? I mean, you are playing him in more of a drop back, Tom Brady style Offense. That's all well and good if you have a QB who can do that. Dak is more of an option read, run the ball, don't create turnovers type QB. You can win with that guy if you put him in an Offense that allows him to take advantage of his natural abilities. You can't win with him if you expect him to stand back in the pocket and pick you apart. That's not his game. Dak is not playing like Castle and Weeden. Dak is playing in an Offense that doesn't fit him. He has clearly shown that if you put him in the right situation, he can win games.

true BUT even if all goes very well around him and hes aloud to be Dak, hes average very average as a thrower.. so when his contract comes up and he wants real starter money and still playing like this, his agent demands 5 years 130..its likely right? im sorry I let him test FA and let him walk..thats the reality of it, hes a backup caliber or bottom 16 starter type, playing as a starter who will want frontline top money...the best he can possibly be in Bortles, thats his ceiling IMO..Im sorry but im not doing it..

He may or may not be. I mean, we don't really know because he doesn't really get much opportunity to do the things that would allow him to have easier opportunities to put up numbers. You can't just dismiss the situation he's in. Look at what he was to work with. He isn't running the Offense that would help him and you can't just dismiss the fact that when he was able to run the Offense that works for him, he put up spectacular numbers as a Rookie. I mean, you don't do that if you don't have some abilities, some talent.

To put Dak in the class of Cam is terrible, and I do not like Cam, Cam is a different QB than Prescott, Dak is closer to RG3 and Kap than Cam.

....did you even look at the dang list? It's not JUST Cam, there are less mobile QBs than Dak that are having an impact with read option plays.

I don't know what type of read option you're thinking about, but it's not always a triple option. I'm not asking to run a triple option - if freakin' Blake Bortles and Carson Wentz can find success on read option plays, Dak can as well.

This is the type of desperation you get into when it's mid-season and you have a bad QB and no viable backup plan. You work with what you got and you find a way to get Dak to use his mobility in a positive way. Plays breaking down are far too random - it needs to be designed.

Dak is probably a little closer to Mariota read option wise, and he averages 10 yards on those plays.

Hmm, min of 5 Read option rush attempts plays, why isn't Dak on that list I know they did the read option at least 5 times a game last year.

Dak averaged 3-4 runs a game last year. How many of those were designed, I do not know. He averaged 6.3 yards a rushing attempt, but again, I don't know how many of these were designed or Dak making plays with his legs when things broke down.

But everyone on that list is also known for a vertical passing game not just pat, pat, checkdown.
