Steve Smith doesn't like TMac

I like this guy, just not at 12. To me it’s a big reach.

In a deep WR draft, McMillan wouldn’t be seen as the 12th pick. This year’s WR draft is not that strong and although he’s clearly a very good receiver, reaching in the first round is always dangerous.

Not a knock on Tetairoa McMillan. But the Cowboys needs are way deeper than a WR. If we reach at 12 for a position we could fill the need later in the draft, you end up chasing instead of drafting the best talent available.

Just my opinion.
I look at last years draft and probably have Tet WR4 in the draft.

It parallels last years qb draft. Cam Ward would be behind Bo Nix.

You can love or hate a player all you want during the pre draft circus, but you won't know much until they play the actual game against the pros.

I like T Mac.

But he worries me. Limited route tree, not great with separation. In college, he was bigger, stronger and faster than everybody else.

Reminds me a bit of Quintin Johnston type. Don’t see the domination in the Nfl
Dallas has been in search of a wide receiver to pair alongside CeeDee Lamb, and McMillan's game compliments Lamb's in a way that can allow both of them flourish for the Cowboys' offense. McMillan's big frame and 31 ½" arms give him a huge catch radius, and paired with his ability to win 50/50 balls can establish himself as a viable down field threat with a big size mismatch for opposing defenses.

McMillan glides around the field with long strides and has enough straight-line speed to be able to separate enough to use his freakish athletic traits to win contested catches. Is excellent at making himself available in the scramble drill and has a natural feel for keeping himself in-bounds along the sidelines. His ability to play both on the outside or in the slot gives the Cowboys the flexibility to move Lamb between those two spots as well, keeping defenses on their toes.

The largest question hanging over McMillan throughout this process has been his top-end speed, but his build and athletic ability are enough to nullify most concerns in that department. If McMillan is selected by the Cowboys, he'd immediately become the tallest wide receiver on the roster by two inches, giving Dallas the big body deep threat they've been looking for.
