I know a lot of people are opposed to the idea of giving away picks for players (Let's face it.. Jerry has scarred us for life with the Galloway/Roy deals) but Gaither and Bethea are two players I don't think anyone should have a problem with.

Actually, if it weren't for 3 or 4 players on our side just freaking standing there and watching the play, Romo would have had a 1st down or a TD easily. Easily.

If Glenn does not fumble inside the 10, Cowboys win easily. If Bill exploits Seattle's decimated secondary, Cowboys win easily. If Cowboys D could stop the run in crucial situations, Cowboys win easily.


There were a LOT of factors that contributed to that loss. Even if Cowboys successfully kick that field goal, how many really believe that the Seahawks would not have mounted a winning drive?

I would bet it has to be Atogwe they are looking at, I just find it hard to believe that Jerry is going to give away our 1st rounder for either Gaither or Bethaua. Jerry just seemed so excited at the combine talking about how we could get a great player without moving around any.

I guess I am just scared of trading first rounders considering how the Galloway and Roy trades blew up in our face.

The Rams didn't want to tender Atogwe higher due to the injury. They'll see if any signs him and sets the market value, then match it. I'd like to see him here, but I doubt the Rams let him walk. They'll match the offer, unless it's got a poison pill in it.

Wow if we can get a 2nd for Sensy(which I highly doubt) this really opens up with what we can do.

Trading a 1st for Bethea wouldn't be so bad then since we would have 2 2nd rounders.

I think that would be an awful idea.

Then you've used up your first 2 picks in the draft - and you still have no lineman. We need lineman depth.. fast. Free and Brewster are nice, but we need another guard/tackle and definitely a new center. I know as well as anyone safety is a problem in Dallas, but I can't think of any game last year we lost because of the safeties... the last game we played (in the playoffs, mind you) - we lost due to our oline.

Let's upgrade the offensive line instead of trying to get the shiney position..
