sports media across the board will be intolerable this week. I was listening to the n_f_l channel on xm and having to hear them talk about how they made the correct call was annoying as hell. I have resigned to the fact thatIi will not be able to listen to any sports media the rest of the week since it will be nonstop unadulterated media bias against the the Cowboys as they celebrate in their pleasure at how we lost the game and why the reversal of the call was correct despite all the evidence to the contrary. this may be one of the longest weeks in Cowboys history.

We'll see how it develops, but Mike and Mike said that one play didn't lose the game for Dallas and that Dallas shot themselves in the foot by not getting after Rodgers in the 2nd half. Then Greenberg said the more he watched the replay of Dez, the more he thought that was a catch.

I don't disagree withthe fact that we had multiple opportunities. It is the self righteous tone and indignation that any cowboy fan (or anyone else who might have thought is was the wrong call) would question the reversal. The fact that when they discus the play they leave out certain aspects of it (like the 3 steps ) to make their point. It's the smugness with absolute certainty that they talk about it which was the complete opposite to last week that makes it so unbearable.

As I've aged, I've learned to not let our games get me too high or too low. In the past, a rough loss could really ruin my day. Yesterday hurt bad. I will never forget that play. Never. I will watch the superbowl some, but im pretty much done until draft time.

How'd you do that, I'm almost 50 and I'm getting more emotional with each passing year

Stephen A has people talking about what he's going to say before he says anything. Dude should get a raise.
The only reason he's there for is to get people talking about and watching ESPN. He does that maybe better than anybody else on TV.

So guess what? He said it was a catch and the league is a joke for trying to say it wasn't. Now he is laughing at the Cowboys losing, but at least in regards to that play, he agrees that Dez was making a football move to score.

Will be UNBEARABLE tomorrow and you know Skip is just sick to his stomach like the rest of Cowboy nation. Lord help him, that is all.

But he can't say the Cowboys were an "accident waiting to happen" because the Cowboys didn't do anything down the stretch that botched the game. You can't say that with respect to the Dez no catch. You can't even say that about the tipped ball that Cobb catches to end the game. And the Murray fumble came too early in the game, and Aaron Rodgers made a turnover too.

This Cowboys team, even in defeat, wasn't the same as other loser teams of the past.

Im the same but when it's playoffs or win or go home situations the emotions are back on the table.

And Cris Carter said it wasn't a catch based on the way the rule has been applied.

I agree. I'll watch the championship game and the Super Bowl (mostly because it's an event to enjoy with friends). But I'm really disinterested and if something comes up, I'm not going to reject it simply to watch the championship games.

Yeah, he did.

It's a sticky place for sure. I still believe he makes a football move at the end, but the refs and the league is going with it all being one fluid motion. I don't see how that's even physically possible and it doesn't look that way on the replay to me, but the rule permits the interpretation the refs made so they're covered. It sucks, because we were robbed of about 4:25 of great drama, watching the Cowboys likely score and then watching them try to keep Rodgers from moving the ball 30-50 yards. I think Green Bay still wins with the way Rodgers was carving up the defense, but it sucks that we didn't even get a chance to see what would happen.

Look, I agree with you. I think it was a catch. But the way that's interpreted, I can see why they made the call they did. I was just as angry because it was a spectacular catch. But ... I've seen that play call the same in other situations. And I can see why they thought it was all a part of a continuous motion. I just wished Dez had tried to extend the ball toward the goal line with two hands so the replay could have been more definitive (or even just caught it clean and stepped out of bounds). But hindsight is always 20/20.

Dez made a phenomenal athletic and instinctual play. Too bad as this catch could've gone down in NFL history as one of the great NFL playoff plays. Now unfortunately it's only being remembered for the controversy caused by the call.

Yeah but even Steven A Smith acknowledeged that it was a catch. That's how bogus this call was.
