Let’s say Jeanty and T mac are gone and you can’t trade back. If it comes down to these two, who you got? Personally I roll on the upside of Stewart: edge is just more valuable than a TE IMO. What say you?

I can't see how it comes down to only those two as options, but if that's who they are choosing between I'd take Stewart. Warren has a much higher floor but Stewart has the higher ceiling IMO. In the long run Warren may end up being the better pro, but his effect will be felt less on this team than if SS hits his ceiling and becomes a great D-lineman.

Warren.
He's a proven top tier talent .
I only seen one Texas A&M game last season and that Longhorn offensive line totally erased Stewart.
I would take Kelvin Banks Jr over Stewart.

Maybe I'm thinking of a different player but doesn't he only have one year of production in college? From what I been seeing, it's the traits, the high ceiling that is projecting him into the first round, not production. That scares me.

I think you have to go with the player who has already shown he can be great. That's not Stewart. I mean, 4.5 sacks in three years shouldn't sell anyone on a player. Doesn't mean he won't turn out to be a great pro, but I wouldn't take the chance.

I’d take Burch before I’d take Stewart!
I’d take anyone of the top 3 DTs before I took Stewart!
At 12 Stewart is a Taco debacle just waiting to happen again!

Warren.
Give me that TE that should present matchup issues over the middle. Playmaker at T.E. Maybe not the best value at 12, but I rather get the best TE in the class that has the ceiling of a legit # 1TE in the NFL, over an athlete at DE that has yet to have any success sacking QB's in the NCAA.

I get he had a lot of pressures, with that 1.5 sack outing last year, but it's a little concerning to me.
Have to wonder if he'll learn better techique getting to the QB or just try to just use his athletic ability to get to the QB.
If Stewart fell to round 2, sure gamble a bit if he's near BPA, but I feel like he's another athlete over player at this stage.
