I agree. We laid an egg today, but I knew this was going to be a tough game. We rarely play well in Lambeau and Green Bay had their backs to the wall. They brought it, we were looking ahead, and that was your ballgame.

We're still in good shape since this loss was out of the division and we're still 6-3 and in first place. Take care of business the next two weeks, and we'll be in position to lock up a playoff spot.

...lockup a playoff spot for what?...to be one and done in the wildcard round?...the challenges come from outside this division not within...

...your Cowboys just let a team as sloppy as they are with worse protection issues virtually shut them out...a team that was beat by a rookie quarterback just last week...it would've been a fitting ending for them to have been shut-out today...

...as much as i want Phillips to succeed as head coach in Dallas it just ain't going to happen and today is just more proof...

Normally I would be in whine mode with the rest of you guys. Fortunately, I matured into realizing that sometimes the other team outplays you and I learned to lower my extremely high expectations.

I am upset about the loss and wish a number of things happened that didn't, mainly the Cowboys winning the game, but like I said, we still control our destiny and still lead the division.

There is a difference between getting outplayed and just being unoreoared ti play football. Our coaches didnt have this team ready, and didnt make any in-game adjustments.

I love this team. I hate their coaches. This team has guts and heart this year. Their coaches are so bad that it doesnt matter

Sorry, can't do it. You can accept backing into a playoff berth if you want.

I won't accept it either, but what would you like to do? We can't control anything. We'll move on with our lives and just see what this team gives us from week to week. Hopefully it's good.

I really think the crappiness of the Wade and Red show has worn some of you down: a performance like today and vs. Denver could very well cost us the playoffs. The schitzo demeanor of this team is a direct reflection of the staff which we all know is pretty sub par to put it mildly. They just aren't good enough, but could be if coached up accordingly IMO. That's the thing: coulda, woulda, shoulda.....SEVEN more games and there will be a new sheriff in town....hope always springs eternal.

PS: I know where you're coming from Slate......what are ya' gonna do? as they say in NY. But man, after so many GREAT years of football with all this talent it's just a shame to watch Wade and his merry band piss it away.....that's all.....

They came out today and just laid an egg. It happens. New England did it against the Jets this year and the Dolphins last year. Good teams lay eggs from time to time.

Lets gear up to put a beat down on the Commanders and Raiders next week, and roll into December at 8-3.

Still in 1st place everyone. Alot of you seem shocked that we laid an egg today. You just set yourself up for disappointment. I'm not even mad about this loss, I'm so use to these performances.

Still 1st in the division with Deadskins and Raiders coming up. Keep your heads up!!

Remember when this forum was figuratively pulling its hair out because we went 2-2. Then we got 6-2 and thoughts turn to division winners and hosting playoffs (by fans and media).

We lose.

Yes, I don't like it. But the season isn't over.

Winning in Green Bay is difficult, particularly against a team fighting to stay in the playoff hunt.

The defense played well, but wore down.

Romo played well until he had to gamble at the end.

I'm a bit concerned about the offensive line. And Roy Williams? Don't get me started.

Be that as it may, I'm still encouraged. Again, it's a long season. It's not over yet. Relax, the Skins are coming. :D

Well, you should be "glad" for this loss if you're on the can Wade bandwagon. A few more, a missed playoff birth and you will get your wish.

Great point about New England. And also it's the NFL. Packers lost to the Bucs and gave up 34 points and then almost shut us out the following week. How the hell do you gauge that? It's a weird league..

LOVE the sig bro'!

I just put on my Yanks World Series cap. Said to myself that the Cowboys are still in first and didn't lose any ground this week to the Eagles. Now I'm gonna go eat some dinner.

Well this team is what it is. it has been this way for sometime now. We win games we could lose and lose games we should win at times. Sometimes we play lights out and sometimes we turn out the lights and go to sleep. I've come to expect performances like this from time to time.

Every team in the NFL has games like this and it was our turn.

I wish we would play every game with heart and enthusiasm but it just isn't going to happen that way, so it would be better to lower your expectations so when it does happen, you won't be so upset.

"any given sunday."

My main gripe about today is the offensive line. Just got whipped at the point of attack. I think Leonard Davis should play left tackle next year.

I agree to a point, I hate any loss. I am more concerned with the injuries we got today and the terrible officiating than the loss. The Packers clearly played hungry today, so give them props for that....now time to lick our wounds and move on.

Green Bay was a dangerous team to play guys.

Teams with backs up against the wall at home are the toughest to play

That was my theme all week long. Philly was the game we needed.

Yeah just think if we had lost the Philly game and this game or lost to Philly and won this game. Of course, we all wanted to win both but winning the philly game was more important for several reasons.

It was a bad loss, but like you said we are still 1st in the division. Many teams lose games like this where they are expected to win. It will be interesting to see how the team bounces back from this loss though.

The most upsetting thing about this game wasn't the loss, but it was the Cowboys being less physical than the Packers.

Even though it was a poor showing, there are plenty of games left in the season, so there is no point in panicking. If they continue playing like this then I can see an argument being made for panicking (I won't though), but I doubt they put up this kind of performance again for the rest of the year.
