I remember posting this exact same thread years ago. nothing has changed.

Talent buys you zero in this league. It’s about respect. Nobody respects us. They laugh at us. Ask yourself why Bill parcels did more with less talent? Coaching matters. Our owner wants to win his way? But he continues to be a joke. 20+ years and counting.

I’ve had friends/family (cowboy haters) the media… other teams fans having a field day the past couple hours. To be honest I have no defense. This franchise has now fallen below the bengals. Let that sink in.

It isn’t even the fact that we haven’t won a SB. It’s year after year we don’t even come close. We are fools gold. Sad thing is we’ve had talent.

You can win in this league if you have decent talent and elite coaching. But the owner puts himself first….. and us second. Once he saw Jimmy Johnson get credit for those Super Bowls it was over.

Bill parcels took this team with less talent to the playoff 2 of 4 years. Just think about that for a second

He is what Kellen Moore has the potential to be if he put in his time behind a coach that could mentor him.

However, just like with JG, Jerry wants to skip the part where these coaches pay their dues, and actually develop the skills needed to become that type of coach.
