Middle of a lost season trade for a non impact WR. The guy has been a huge disappointment since being drafted. What a complete inept trade made by the amazing Jerry Jones. It's the exact opposite of what anyone would ever do in that situation at that time. It's mind boggling. This team is run by a senile owner, and who the hell got on board for that trade? Did he just override everyone? Insane that we don't have that 4th rounder, insane.

And to compound the matter, many believe that we need to draft a WR early in the 2025 draft to complement CD, which would mean that we used two draft picks on one position, when we have holes to fill at DT, RB, DE, LB, and DB.

Yea, but did you know they liked him as a prospect two years ago and had a high grade on him???

Crazy that they've traded 2 4ths for Trey Lance and Mingo.
At the rate Mingo was going, could of gotten him for like a 6th rounder this offseason.

I can almost understand the Trey Lance trade, but the trade for Mingo makes no sense at all. Its not like adding him to the roster was going to make a big impact, and forget about his draft grade. He has NFL tape and apparently he was not very good. Giving up a 4th round pick seems too high for a player with that kind of production. Maybe a 6th would have been more appropriate.

I believe there will be some good players available in the draft when that pick is on the clock.

Honestly though I'd rather them go this route than assume that WR can be crossed off the needs list just because they traded for Mingo. I hope they admit the mistake instead of double down on it.

Jerry was upset and made the trade. Wasn’t the trade made after his run in with the Fan. Mingo is probably the most talented receiver on the roster next to CeeDee ironically.

You might want to see what happens this next season with Mingo. They can easily get a 4th rounder back in trade during the draft.

Mingo will probably be better than the 4th round pick then they would draft. The guy had a 3rd round grade according to McClay. I guess some of you think the Cowboys would have drafted Bucky Irvin. I have my doubts if they would. They would have probably drafted a quarterback.

Let's see what happens first, remember did the same with Lance, but they traded back and received a 3rd rd pick that netted Beebe. A trade down again might be what they are looking for to get that pick back.

Yeah really dumb. They take chances with 2nd rounders and now they're starting to give away 4th rounders for bums. So, they skip free agency and then go into the draft with no 4th rounders and take flyers on guys with their 2nd round pick. So basically we count on our 1st 3rd 5th 6th and 7th rounders puls whatever comp picks they get to basically address their holes. This has to be the stupidest franchise in all of sports.

Let's see what they do this year. So far they have cut Zeke and are showing that they will make a commitment to the running game and Mingo can help them with that. He is their best blocking receiver.

Glad they found their Noah Brown.

You know he wasn't drafted for 2024....right? This trade was to replace Cooks this year and beyond.

2nd round grade (still on his rookie contract) for a 4th rounder.

Insane that we don't have that 4th rounder, insane.
I'm praying the Cowboys get a 4th in a trade down. Every since the second this trade was announced all I've heard is NO 4TH ROUND PICK and it would be hilarious for them end up with one.

Yep. At the most a 5th round comp pick. They wanted him gone.
