Still can't get over how they pissed away a 4th round pick for Mingo

The answer is really simple. The Cowboys are Jerry’s toy and he wanted to play with it.

Maybe a power struggle with the kid and he wanted to prove a point, but probably not.

They had no idea what type of offense they may run in 2025 and if the staff may want Mingo or not.

From a football perspective, it makes no sense at all, but I’m not so sure why people think things are ever going to with these two. They aren’t any good at this and are in way over their heads against some of the better minds in the league, but will never believe that because they are billionaires and think they are better than everyone at everything.

It literally says "Draft Projection Rounds 2-3" right on the page I posted.

The Cowboys traded a 4th for him.
That was before he entered the NFL. He has been complete *** in the NFL. It’s the exact same stupid reason they traded for Lance. Who cares what his draft projection was years ago?

It was only 2 years ago. How much do you think has changed for him in the last 2 years?

Side note - he is only 23 years old!

I'm guessing working out and training with a professional team those 2 years the answer is none.

he has shown ZERO dude. Suck it up.

How many drops did he have 0? When they threw him a simi accurate ball he caught it.
thats nice. still does not show anything that matters. lots of players can catch a ball but does not make them worth starting.

I was a big fan of Mingo coming out; he had shades of AJ Brown.

The fact that the talent poor Panthers decided to get rid of their 2nd round pick (39th overall) midway through his second season is telling. I haven’t read anything about him being a malcontent so I hope it’s not an intelligence issue.

What did it tell you when they got rid of Baker Mayfield? Was it telling?

well his value certainly dropped when he showed nothing, didn't it?
NO.

I don't get this who "he showed nothing" thing you are so hung up on. Considering the situation he walked into with both teams, exactly what did you expect? He went to the worst team in the league. Then he was traded into a situation to replace Cooks next year.

guess what? Lots of players find ways to be productive even on bad teams. Keep on with the excuses, its amusing

Dallas needs an X, so CeeDee can continue to destroy teams from the slot. Mingo, Flournoy and Tolbert can play the X, so this is where I see the WR2 competition. Not saying these guys are great. Mingo fits the run first offense, tho, with his run blocking potential.

I'm wondering what type of WR do ppl want Dallas to add? Also, Dak likes guys that work short to intermediate, not so much the deep routes imo.

I’d say we want a #2 that can consistent get open and finish against 1:1s.

We don’t have anyone on the roster that has shown that they can do that.

Could Mingo improve? Maybe…do I want to take that risk with a franchise QB on contract and a short window open to try and make a run? No.
