I enjoy rubbing it in my best bud's face every week we play at Cowboys stadium. He's been a Colts fan since 1964 and he agreed with Polian when he said the Cowboys HAVE TO move it:laugh2:

They did end up raising it for the U2 concert, right? Did they leave it at the height they raised it to?

Yes this board thing is certainly funny. The last few televised games the announcing crew hasn't even brought it up... once.

Maybe Jeff Fisher should have been worried about his team instead of our scoreboard during the preseason.

I hope Jerruh mentions it every chance he gets to rub it in.

Looking at pictures I've taken before and after the concert it appears the same.

They had to "unplug" the thing to move it for U2, right? It certainly hasn't been unplugged for the games following U2. They said to move it up and have it working they would have to move the electrical end of the thing, or so i thought.

Yeah....those mediots made a big deal out of it.....and no one has hit it yet this year in the regular season....

But then again....ESPN and those mediots will now focus on the sunlight comming in ....

Its ashame that a great structure like this gets criticized like it does......

The board is not the problem anymore...it's now the sun. Haters will come up with anything and PFT is the worst.

New Cowboys Stadium controversy

Posted by Michael David Smith on October 25, 2009 6:32 PM ET
It turns out that punts hitting the video board aren't the only controversy at the new Cowboys Stadium.

Atlanta Falcons coach Mike Smith is complaining during today's game at Dallas that the sun is shining through the end zone windows and directly into his players' eyes, affecting their play.

This isn't the first time the sun has been mentioned as a factor at Cowboys Stadium; the sun has been a factor when the Cowboys had afternoon practices at the stadium and when they had afternoon warm-ups before night games.

But according to Troy Aikman, who's calling today's Falcons-Cowboys game for Fox, a curtain is supposed to be drawn to prevent sunlight from affecting the players. For some reason, that curtain remained open.

And so even if no punts hit the video board, there's another potential issue to make visitors at Cowboys Stadium complain. We'll see what Smith says after today's game, which the Falcons are trailing 27-14 with 10 minutes to play in the fourth quarter.

They should have hung Wade's pants over the glass. Oh wait, we don't want darkness.
