Still not taking offensive line seriously...

Both Grubbs and Nicks signed "affordable contracts", especially Grubbs. Can't believe we didn't get either of them.

At least all the free agent centers are still out there, hopefully we'll make a move for one of them.

CB was much more of a need than guard. Defense is in much worse shape than the offense.

We need a center more than we need a guard.

I don't think another 10 million a year contract is an "affordable contract" and I don't think we ever even had Grubbs on our radar. I don't think he's as good as people give him credit for.

The offseason does not consist of only the first 2 days of free agency. I'm pretty sure we're looking to add some guys in the draft and later in free agency.

We absolutely don't.

In due time my friend....

I feel we don't need big big big major upgrades, imo...maybe 1 guy

Do you have $31 million dollars to front someone?

You can't do it all in Free Agency and the draft is full of potential at guard.

DL OL & OLB will be a draft priority.

Should be interesting to see which direction we go. Im thinking a trade down for Cordy Glenn may be what we choose to do.

The OG FA pickups just point to stop gaps in case a rookie isn't ready.

We need at least 1 DE and a OG + C.. Maybe Kowalski is that option and we could roll with him.

Hmm....

We signed Free to a large contract last year and then used our 1st Round pick on another Tackle.

We apparently are going to sign 2 or 3 interior linemen in first week of free agency.

And we will likely draft an interior OL in the first 2 rounds of the draft.

But we "aren't taking it seriously"?

Uh, ok.

Free agency isn't the only way to build a team, who are we the Washington Commanders? Draft a few more prospects, and maybe Arkin or Nagy improve after their first pro offseason. This isn't a madden franchise where we can sign up all the top FA's. Especially after getting hit with the 10 million dollar penalty.

I agree with DBoy. Defense is in much worse shape than the offense.

Right now Smith and Free are the only legit starters that I feel comfortable with. I'd prefer to sign a veteran center, draft a guard and let Nagy/Arkin/Bernadeau battle it out for the other guard spot.

Not to mention bringing in Callahan. You can't take the offensive line position more seriously than that guy takes it.

Dallas looks at the depth of talent of OGs in the draft and also know DeCastro and Glenn could be there at 14 if they really need a OG.

I expect Dallas to sit and wait for some of these Centers to go. Myers visiting Tennesse today, then I think Wells will go next. Dallas will then make a play to try and get a bargin.

If not I hear they really like Arkin and Nagy at Center.

You may not like it but the coaches do.

I agree. We made a mistake targeting a top corner rather than an interior lineman.

I think we'll do more to adress the line in the coming days and in the draft.
I agree though with you in not trusting it as it is.

If we don't land DeCastro or maybe Glenn in a trade down in the draft, then they may have regrets.
I guess Zeitler or Osemele after the 1st round could be options too.
