A difference maker who can make the hard decisions and build a SB caliber team . Just look at the rebuild he is engineering at Denver . McCarthy has had 4 years wirh mediocre results and no CCG or SB . Not sure who Jerry would go for now .
It's all good bro. I'm totally with ya.
But spare yourself the widespread criticism by even some well established Zoners here. Talking about he and MCCheese are the same guy, one SB a piece, yada, yada yada...

The road to NFL success is paved by how the GM, HC and QB perform against their 31 other peers.

I can't tell anymore who is underperforming the worst out of our 3 titleholders.

You may be right if the GM doesn’t allow him to shop for the grocery

Yeah, just look. They lost at home to Bailey Zappe to fall to 7-8. New England was trying to run out the clock and go to OT. Payton kept calling time outs so they threw one down the field, completed it, and beat the Broncos in regulation.

The legend of Sean Payton on this board is greater than the reality. He's McCarthy 2.0. Go and compare their records.

lol. Peyton would have to hand in his balls to Jerry like all the other puppet hc Jerry’s hired. Still think a Sean Peyton with zero power would really get this team over the hump? It’s called “fools gold”.

He didn’t rebuild anything he made it worst. I’d rather have Mike….

Yeah, you didn’t mean Kellen Moore did you?

But, assuming you actually are talking about a former, former Cowboys OC…

When was Sean Payton available to us?

Do you mean the two years he was retired and the Saints had his rights and he didn’t want to coach?

Did you mean this year?

When he decided he was ready to get another massive payday and he forced his new team to trade a 1st, 3nd and 3rd round pick for him?

And now … he’s a Bronco. A team who lost tonight to one of the worst teams in the league and are 7-8 and essentially eliminated from the playoffs?

Not sure what “Super Bowl Team” you are seeing being “engineered” in Denver, but I guess that will have to wait.

Sean would not settle for obvious OL deficiencies . Plus the DBs being too soft . Of course if the GM does not give up the roster decisiona nothing will matter
Oh, I see. He’s a magician. A wizard.

I haven't seen Denver this year, and from what Ive read the success they've had this year turning things around from an awful start is because of their D. So I would think the DC would deserve a lot of credit for that mostly.

A coach that just lost to the Patriots at home because he gave them 2 timeouts in their game winning drive.
