Hey y'all, this is the second installment in my FanPost scouting reports (you can find my first one on top CBs here, now updated to 7 players). I decided to write this because I wanted to get a personal understanding of the draft prospects, and not just go off what I read, so even if yall choose to read mine (which I greatly appreciate), I encourage you to take some looks yourself. Hopefully this can provide you some insight, and I'll keep on adding my reports as the draft season progresses.

It is very long, so feel free to just read the overalls for each player, their overall for each game, or read everything:

Good work.

Great right up.

I swear there were times I thought you were talking about latter day Romo when describing Goff.

When all is said and done, I think Lynch is going to be the first off the board. The main reason being that the combination of arm strength and touch he has is quite rare an coveted. I think thats going to be what pushes him up. I think we take Goff at #4

Just red the QB and the CB reports. Very well done. I appreciate the effort man.

Thanks for the hard work. I think if Goff falls to 4 it will be hard for them to pass...but I also think this next week may make them think trade-down to 9-13 and take Wentz. Especially with the Romo comparisons.

Good write up. I also don't see three QB's going in the top 12 picks.

Wentz, coming from that conference, is probably the least "pro ready" imo, which hurts his draft stock in this era where coaches need to win now to keep their jobs. The coaching turnover is ruthless right now.

I think it'll work to our advantage. Trade down a few picks, hopefully grab a third, and pick the best QB left. I think that'll be Wentz.

Goff intrigues me with his intelligence and decision making. I wondering how much of the accuracy thing for Lynch is due to the offense that Memphis ran. If Lynch can make better decisions ( sitting will help this) I would not mind in a trade down.

trade down someone jumps over us and takes the remaining QB [our target QB]

Agree on trading down, I go back and forth on the QBs. QBs are always overrated and I think these three are as well. I don't see any of them as a top five pick. That said, it "only takes one GM" to fall in love with a guy and draft someone too high. The draft board will change over and over before the draft comes, I can see a scenario where Wentz or Lynch drops to our pick in the second round. That said, all three could go top ten also.

Scouts and tools. If Lynch and Wentz both have good combines/pro days and white board sessions they are going to end up really highly ranked on teams boards because of those elite tools. I agree that the consensus of Goff to Cleveland is a little premature.

New coach @ Browns said 'we have a second pick and could use it on QB'
who wants to be new regime starting out with a head case for a QB

It looks for here as Goff to Browns
Now San Diego could be the turn pin and trade [who knows]
After Goff one of the two remaining QB might fit our needs
