Up (no order)

1. La'El Collins - snuffed Cam Jordon 1 on 1 all night
2. LVE - Marinelli let the wolf hunter do some hunting in the second half instead of dropping him into pass coverage. LVE is our best and most physical LB. We have got to let him play aggressive.
3. Jaylon - I'm putting him here b/c it was his best game of the year and he came up with that huge sack pushing the Saints out of FG range and giving Dak another shot.
4. Quinn - That dude can still ball. He reminded me of DLAW circa 2018.
5. Kerry Hyder - He destroyed the Saints center all night.

Down

1. Dak - Have to start at the top. I didn't see a 40 million dollar QB out there. Had 2 shots at FG range in the final 7 minutes. Bridgewater outplayed him.
2. Zeke - 2 yards per carry. Lost a yard on 2nd and 1 with under 7 minutes left. Fumbled on a 4th and one. Might be the worst game of his career.
3. DLAW - Made a brief mention on sunday night when he got called for roughing. Otherwise, he continues his pedestrian season.
4. Moore - Our play caller turned into Scott Linehan. Where was the creativity? Can his offense only function against inept defenses? Stay tuned........
5. Amari - Got dominated by Lattimore. Called for Offensive PI twice. Bad game.

That looks like a pretty good assessment, although I would add the interior offensive line in the stock down column, I thought our two Pro Bowlers in Martin and Frederick played well below their usual high standard.

Another down: Injury to Tyron Smith. Not his fault, of course. I haven't seen an update, but if he's out for a while it hurts us.

The line is just as much responsible for Ezekiel's struggles as Ezekiel.

Dak and Teddy battled to a draw, but the rest of the saints just played better than we did. It's as simple as that. They punched us in the mouth and we didn't answer. It would not have been close if Drew played and that's worrying for me.

On the stat sheet they battled to a draw. But if you watched the game, Bridewater did a much better job of keeping his offense on the field. They had the ball almost 10 minutes longer than we did. He may not have thrown a TD but Teddy kept them in 2nd and short all night. The 9 minute 3rd quarter drive after we scored a TD was masterful and completely deflated our momentum after that TD.

The Saints defense did a great job taking away Dak's favorite target (Cooper) and jamming the box which took away all those crossing patterns and slants we saw in the first few games. Dak is going to have to find another target or Zeke won't get a chance. The whole game turned on Lattimore snuffing out Cooper. If we win that match-up, Von Bell is back in center field rather than wrecking havoc at the line of scrimmage.

Quinn didn’t remind me of Dlaw at all. Dlaw has never been that good. Quinn reminded me of Ware. Guy is a terror!

Dak played well enough considering he was running for his life. Watch the pressure, Bridge had a lot of time, Dak had none.

I’ve been very critical of Jaylon but he finally played well.

LVE was awesome.

Quinn enjoyed DLAW drawing all the double teams. If he keeps playing like that, it should in theory free up DLAW. Teams will have to pick their poison. Can't double them both.

Good list. I will add:

Up:
Austin - He didn't get hurt last night
Jones - Getting better every week
Heath - I bash the guy relentlessly. He has played pretty good this season. Decent game last night.

Down
Witten - Looked old and frustrated after that fumble. Hated to see that.
Chido - IMO most overrated player on the team. MT beat him like a rental mule last night.
Marinelli - I am officially no longer supporting the guy. Scheme was terrible.

I've always liked Heath. He's improved himself tremendously, hits hard and stays healthy. Every team needs lunch pale guys like him who don't take up mega cap space.

Martin wasn't a strength last night. He also had a poor game.

But credit the Saints. Unlike Marinelli, they actually realize the importance of big, powerful defensivequicj tackles.
Marinelli wants quick twitch instead of decent size and toughness.

Down the coaches, where was that number 1 O Line we keep hearing about? Where was that boy genius Kellen Moore? you are a target now KM, time to take the bad with the good. You got punked last night. KM did like JG, if it aint working im going to keep doing it.

We had no business losing that game, we lose that game and here comes the defenders : well its just one game. (the same people who defend 8-8 like its a privilege not being 5-11)

Broncos game was Zeke’s worst but he looked bad last night. Couldn’t break tackled like the guy on the other side of the ball. Oline got man handled most of the night too. Dak was average but those two fumbles cost the team TOP because they were both first downs. Dak threw a few darts but Moore failed to use him in the run game. The team seems to get fired up when Dak runs for first downs.

I don't hold Prescott responsible for the game plan though. I think Dak could have executed the offense much the same as the Saints did with Teddy more than likely better but that's not how they prepared to face the Saints defense. They obviously didn't expect the Saints defense to do that well against our offense.

Nonetheless I agree with everything you said.
