How is philly up at all at QB? Vick is a very avg QB at best that without looking it up I think has played one full season his entire career, seems to have tunnel vision in the fact that if his go to guy is covered, it's feet do your stuff because he is terrible at reading a blitz and finding 2nd and 3rd go to guys.....THEN, they pull their backup QB out of retirement, then Kafka as their 3rd string...QB is by far their weakest link.DFWJC;4601143 said:Up slightly
I think Romo slightly improves over last year (assuming good health) with something like 4350/37/12 numbers.
Plus our backup is an upgrade vs the 2011 version of Kitna.
BTW
Other NFC East
NYG slightly down given Eli going more towards being, well, Eli.
Philly slightly up--whcih should not be too hard to given Vicks weak year in 2011.
Washington even to maybe even slightly up (only due to RG3 being a rookie and that Gross/Beck combined for about 4000 yards but 18 TDs and a normally Eli-like 24 ints.)
It's all relative Ron.cowboy_ron;4601156 said:How is philly up at all at QB? In your opinion, for the Quarterback position, are the Cowboys up, down, or in stasis?
Tomorrow we'll hit some skill positions.

I know some here can only see the icing and not the cake but even in the last game it had more to do with our marshmallow DB's and lack of pressure on our defensive front than it was his 18/32 he put up...their defensive front had much more to do with their win than anything he did.sonnyboy;4601222 said:Two things about Vic.
1) On any given day he can play as well as any QB.
2) The way he killed us last season, you're not likely to get many here to see him for what he really is.

I don't know, I'm not his agent....I know a few that SHOULD have been if they weren't alreadyEddie;4601247 said:Really? What teams were banging down Orton's door to start for them???

Romo is going to do what he does...and perhaps if others stay healthy, he might have another career year, this time with MVP consideration, but that's hard to predict.
Orton is a decent QB, and I'm glad we have him, but I don't think he's much better than what Kitna provided when he was here...maybe a bit better.
So...okay slightly up...depending.
I know, way to make a call, huh?
