After PS game 2:

UP:

Tyler Booker - great to see him out there. Looks the part for sure. The Ravens tried to bull rush him multiple times and he anchored down big time.

Princeton Fant - dude is on the 53. Does lots of thing and does them pretty well.

Clark/James - really all the backers, Flus’ magic touch is working again. These two in particular were everywhere

Booth/Childress - can’t believe I’m praising Booth but he had a good game. And I want Childress in over Hall. We know what Hall is, maybe Childress can grow past that.

Houston- dude should be on the 53 as the last edge: he’s light years better than Turner.

BAD:

Milton- duh. One of the worst QB performances I’ve ever seen. If not for Jerry’s ego he would be on the PS year. Instead you are looking at QB 2.

Sanders- hard to blame him too much given who was at QB but did nothing to stand out: if it’s a close call; I’m keeping Mafah.

Tolbert - Mingo’s injury might save him but I just have not been impressed and he was awful on special teams.

Schotty - hopefully not a sign of things to come but two straight weeks his team has been woefully unprepared. For now he is a honorary hot Boyz- all talk.

I would holdout stock is down on Brian.
We have no idea what he and the staff are looking at or trying to accomplish in these games.
I understand though, they coaching staff has looked unprepared. But I am not in panic mode.

Hate that Mingo got injured. Hopefully it turns out to be short term thing.

They would need to keep 4 TE's for Fans to make the team. So that cuts back on another portion group. Maybe at RB, but hope not.

Booth and or Childress have a good chance at making the roster, because of all the injuries.

Have you noticed that Dallas has not done very well with the players they draft or bring in from Ole Miss. It seems to be a trend here.

Agreed with all.

I'd add Deuce to stock down. I've always been a believer based on his college tape and his running style. But he basically maxes out at 2 yards a carry, unless he can get in space--and even then, the slightest breeze will knock him down.

I doubt we keep 4 TE's, when Luepke can play TE. Keep in mind we never use more than 1 in the passing game. The rest just block for the most part.

Houston makes the team as we keep 6 DE's and decide to short at our weakest position DT.

Grier will be QB2, if not Shotty has no balls. And he can piss all of his culture down the toilet.

Mafah makes the team as we keep 4 RB's including Luepke with his versatility.

Tolbert made the team based off of last years performance. Rush had a connection with him, hopefully Dak has built one as well.

Shotty's players that will not make the team have looked bad, against 2 other teams players that will not make their team.

What does backup QB have to do with team culture?

Is Milton some glue guy that I’m not aware of?

I'm sure he means that if Milton is handed a job he probably doesn't deserve you can't promote that "things are changing around here."

stock down- the whole FO including golden boy.our 2nd and 3rd string players are truly terrible.

The entire team and the entire NFL and anyone else not related to Milton, knows Grier is a better QB than Milton. This includes people who don't know and/or never seem Grier play a game.

At this point, I would rather have Trance back, and Trance was a horrendous mistake.

You're not being fair to Deuce. He had a 6.0 average/carry until Schotty called some messed up run plays that cost Deuce being tackled twice for loss in the backfield simply because other blockers missed their blocks and allowed defenders to blitz untouched and tackle Deuce in the backfield. Doesn't matter who the RB would have been on those plays. They would have been tackled in the backfield for a loss due to other guys missing their blocks and Schotty's bad run playcalls.

Booker does look outstanding. This draft has a chance of turning out very well.

The running backs, receivers, tight ends, oline and edge rushers are not terrible.

The backup qbs are not important.

Look, I've been more than fair to Deuce. I want him to do well more than most and still believe in the player. But this is year 3 and he's still getting near 2 yards a carry. He's just too easily tackled because of his size.

My stock down is Milton and Shotty. Not sure if it is just one or both, but they had all offseason to look competant in the preseason. Looking competant in the preseason and real games are two different things. Preseason is all vanilla. You see rookies who will be over their head in the regular season take teams on scoring drives with just basic execution. To see their inepteness in two games is pretty jarring.

It obviously is not good for Milton who has been brutal. The bigger concern is Schotty may be well over his head in designing an offense.

Sounds like Zeke 2 yards lol
