I just wanna know who's gonna be in our coverage now that Roy (probably won't miss him back their) and Patrick is out. I hope this is a chance for some unknown to make a name for themselves.

Keith Davis is the backup SS so it appears he'll start in place of Roy, which is very scary because KD was horrible last year. He was out of position and looking lost in many plays, I really hope that he is improved.

You do realise that Roy comes out during some plays? I think we have survived. Also, we are missing Watkins...if we struggle it will be because of him. Also, want to see the Roy Williams of 2007? Go rewatch that long run at the end of the game and see Roy get blasted by a wide receiver.

It will be Davis.

In the past they tried to play him at FS and he is just not FS material. He is more suited at SS.

The one thing to worry about with Davis being the starting SS is how he will fair later in the game IF they also use him no all the ST Coverage units. It could wear him down if they don't put someone else in his spot on ST.

Because noone on the other thread was talking about how we were going to compensate for the missing players. All they were doing were whining about the rule. I got tired of wading (pun intended) through the bs to get to what's important (sorry for quoting Big Bill )

I'm hopeful he'll get close to the receiver. Anything will be better than what we've been doing.

Davis showed last year he could play well at FS -- he can't sustain it but he can have a good game there.

We aren't exactly going against a throw it deep QB so, this isn't the end of the world.

Who said anything about putting SS as the last line of defense? Stop making up crap to fit your argument. I simply said he sucked when he played the defense, whether be as FS or SS.

At least this time Killer will be used as a real SS as compared to being used as a FS last season. Also he will have Hamlin to help him out this time. Maybe some time off Roy can come back fresh for the Skins.
