Is Dak struggling? Yes. Is Dak a top 10 QB? Yes. 2 things can both be true.
It is really much simpler than this. We will win this division. Dak's "numbers" will get better...HOWEVER...they will not return to where they were earlier this season...with the running game in the state that is is....it's that simple!
Whether it's Zeke being banged up. Or Pollard being banged up. Either way, our passing game will not return to the levels it was at....with the way we are running the football right now
It's funny how many of you look at money and football. A lot of you have the attitude that someone is not allowed to be hurt if they make a lot of money. Pollard is hurt and missed the game. Because he does not make much money, everyone is "ok" with him missing the game.
What we are seeing from Zeke will not cut it in the playoffs. He needs MULTIPLE weeks of rest to get himself right. Gutting it out in the regular season...just to prove his "worth" is very short sighted. But I guess that is the responsibility that comes with that paycheck?
Tank has missed a ton of games. Gallup has missed a ton of games. Collins has missed game. Tyron has missed games. A couple of the DTs has missed games. I could go on and on. But it seems like this organization and the fanbase would hit the roof if Zeke missed games due to his knee. So he keeps pressing on.
If the productivity we saw from him today...is the same thing we are going to see in the playoffs...we will be one and done. But would anybody be celebrating the fact that "at least we made the playoffs?" No! We would be belly aching about how he only put up 40 yards in the playoff game. But that is quickly the direction we are headed. It's about the long game...not just today.
