I didn't get on here after the Boys game against the Texans for a few days on purpose. I was pissed as hell at their performance. No energy. No sense of urgency. No continuity. I was fuming by the middle of the 3rd quarter and turned off the television. Even though it was preseason, I still expect some sort of effort.

With that said, what I did see was a tired team. The NFL didn't do us any favors by scheduling us in the HOF game. But, it is what it is.

I don't think Jerrah has done this team any favors, either, by taking them "on tour" this year. I've felt this way for a number of years now. But, this year, with the extra week and game, I feel stronger about my disdain of moving the team so much. Dallas to San Antonio to Canton to California to Houston. That's a lot of movement for a team in roughly a month. I would rather see the team stay in San Antonio for TC than move multiple times.

Anyone who has traveled a lot knows the toll it can take on a person's body and their internal clock. It does take a few days for the body to adjust. These guys are worn out from traveling. Here's to a solid two weeks and home and getting ready for the season.

didn't they go from camp in the air conditioning to camp in even cooler Cali?

They did, indeed. But that's not my point.
I get your point, just don't believe it I guess. I mean those were pretty vanilla moves.

I don't think it is that big of a deal. We start camp in SA the team has to fly to San Diego for a pre season game and then stays is California at Oxnard to finish out. Retune back to Valley Ranch ahead of the Houston game.

If it was tough on anyone I would say it was the equipment manager who was responsible of getting the equipment moved from 1 location to another.

Is there any chance we can get some film on the equipment managers so we can break them down play by play? They probably suck, and we should trade for Logan Mankins to help them.

No film but as far as I know there was no major injuries. A couple of pulled groins but that was it.

Way I see it the players were heading to California anyway instead of returning to SA they stayed there so I don't see the big deal about it.

Good grief do fans cry about inane things or what.

Was the Cowboys OL and team in general absolutely pathetic versus the Texans? Yes. Does it matter? No.

That game was decided before it ever started. Kubiak game-planned and had definite results in mind. He blitzed often on defense and went with every variation of offense. He used it as as a true dress-rehearsal. Dallas did not. They told everyone who'd listen that playing the same team in 3 weeks meant they'd keep it all base offense/defense and man, was it. This is a team that blitzed 0 times.... Anyone expect a repeat of that in a real game?

The team was sick of camp. They'd have been even more sick of camp had they spent 5 weeks training in one spot. The breaking of camp at least offered a brief respite. BUT.. but.. but.. they had to travel. Of they travel. They play teams from all over the country. Training in California and playing San Diego then coming home to play local games close to camp here meant actually LESS travel. This wasn't going to London.

QQ less please.

The team will either play well or play poorly starting with the Commanders game and that is all that matters.
