There have been similar threads before but a lot of y’all seem to ignore facts and just run with media or personal narratives. I feel like it’s the duty of giving correct info to do another thread, maybe a few more fans will see past media and personal hype.

The Cowboys have the cap space, future flexibility, knowledge of cap-maneuvering tactics, and a 10% increase in salary cap room every season.
The Cowboys (in the event no one resigns until then) would have over 100M in available cap space entering 2020. Extending Dak, Zeke, Coop, Byron, & Jaylon is technically possible. Now whether the teams wants to resign all 5 is up to them, but it is possible.
The way the FO has played the last few seasons has allowed us to be in one of the best cap situations in the league. We DO have the ability to sign all of the stars, who we Won’t be able to resign are the solid starters and depth guys like Maliek Collins, La’el Collins, and Anthony Brown.
And that’s how it’s supposed to go, you sign the stars you draft, then restock the glue guys and role players in the draft. With the way this FO drafts, we have the capability to sustain a high end roster for years at a time. Will it result in a SB? Probably not with this coach but it won’t be for a lack of talent retention.
