Romo provided a spark alright, a spark for the Giants defense
He provided a spark for the Cowboys and their fans. It was pretty obvious.

the madness. What is the point of going 9-7 with Bledsloe...maybe making the playoff..and if so getting bounced early. No way Bledsloe wins @Chicago or @NY or @anywhere.

I'd rather go 6-10 with Romo, see what he has and if he doesnt show anything then atleast we can be in a position to draft Brady Quinn.

Going 9-7 will not put us in a position to draft a top QB.

Anyways, from what I saw today. I think Romo will be good.

Screw going 6-10 with Romo, i want to go 13-3 with either one of them and win some damn games. I don't want people to start this planning for the future crap after 6 games. If Romo is the new starter, I want Parcells and the coaching staff to gameplan the best way to win with Romo. If Bledsoe is starting at Carolina, then we had better get Julius Jones back on track.

Either way, we need to take the ball out of the quarterback's hands and put the ball in the hands of Jones cause he is the most consistent thing we have right now.

If you didnt see more energy when Romo was in then I am sorry there is nothing else I can say about that...your problem.

Energy doesnt mean anything if it doesnt result in anything. In this case it resulted in a blowout

I don't know what you don't understand. Barely making the playoffs is not the goal. The goal is to win the Championship.

How many championships have been won without making the playoffs? Seriously how many

Bledsloe is not a championship QB....he has had over 10 years to prove it and has choked. Yet his backup that replaced him in New England somehow won 3 superbowls.

Who cares about Bledsoe? You may think he wouldnt make it out of round 1, but we have a better shot of getting to the playoffs with him at QB. and you cant win championships without making the playoffs.

yes because we had zero wins before tonight oh wait!

Tenn, Houston, Washington.

Heck even Tenn beat Washington in their house.

3 craptastic teams. 3 craptastic games by Drew against the good teams we played.

See a pattern here?

The fans were provided a spark with Drew Henson too, hell you could have run out of the tunnel and the crowd would have cheered LOL

As for the team, I saw us go from a close game to a blowout, some spark

Sigh.. did you not watch the game today? have you not watched ALL the games this year? Does this look like a championship team with Bledsloe? Just be honest and stop fooling yourself. This team is going nowhere. Our D just got sliced up and down the field (same thing in Philly). We need a spark. Romo provides that. Plus we can find out what he has. If not then we draft a QB. We cant keep playing the likes of Vinny and Bledsloe forever.

I think we just found out what he has. 3 ints later.

Stop trying to be an ***. I dont have to step you through the process. The goal is to win Championships and obviously inorder to win a ship you have to go through the playoffs. Everyone knows that so stop trying to be smart because you just look dumb.

If you dont see that Bledsloe is not a championship QB then I feel sorry for you (you are in denial).

Tom Brady just happens to win 3 superbowls after replacing Bledsloe with essentially the same team Bledsloe had.

Why don't we evaluate every player off one game. The whole team sucks then and should be replaced !!!!

LOL!!! You are silly or ignorant. The point is to win Championships not ONLY reaching the playoffs.

Bledsloe will choke in the playoffs. Can you image him @ Chicago in the cold? Scary thought.

That presents another problem though. While I agree Romo is the better qb with the current state of the OL, I don't have faith in the coaching staff in devising something that'll maximize the talent. They've had all this time with Bledsoe and yet couldn't adjust accordingly when the OL was breaking down.

If I may interject, Pittsburgh was a wild card team last season...thus barely making the playoffs.

That's worked out in the first series. Getting pummeled often will warm one up.:)

I doubt that'll matter. He's been a cold weather guy all his career.

Bingo! I'll never understand those in here who are happy with a team that is just O.K. All I ever here from the Bledsoe lovers is "he might not be good enough to get us to the Super Bowl but he's our best chance at winning now." HUH?? How some people would rather go with a proven loser is beyond me.

Well, the other option would be "unproven". Choose your poison.

Well, I understand what you meant. Just making the playoffs isn't good enough. We are Cowboys fans and our expectations are higher. If anyone thinks just making the playoffs is good enough the QC did a great job. But he didn't. Every year our goal is the win it all. That's what we do!!! No one has done it better or more times than us.

The lumps we have to take with Romo the next few weeks are lumps he should have started taking against Houston. If not sooner. Texashorn, welcome to the sight and I agree with your sentiments. We looked like crap with Drew in and there was a spark with the change. I question the call. Why would you run that on his first play? Now BP, go and design a gameplan that best utilizes what Romo can do. Since you are the only one who has seen enough of him to know what that is.

Consistent? 13 carries 30 yards?
