You're right .. it happens around the league, and it's just that easy.This is something every defense struggles with. It is not easy stopping running QBs once the break the pocket. If it was easy to stop, there wouldn't be high draft picks used on running QBs who are avg throwers
- Running QBs just break down your defense, when the defense is so spread out- trying to cover receivers all over.
- And even if spying QB with one guy, it's still very difficult to control and coral him with only one sole guy, depending upon the speed skills of that running QB. ala L. Jackson, Josh Allen, Anthony Richardson, Justin Fields, D. Watson, Danny Dimes, etc.

" it's two things defenses fear the most, Speed and a running QB "
