This is easily the key for both teams in tomorrow's game.

I know the Skins will be ready to stop JJ. They were a fine run-stopping team last year, and they did a good job of stopping the run against Da Bears.

I'm still uncertain about us. I really thought we were spotty in the preseason with our run-stopping. LT had some decent runs against us last week. Granted, we kept him in check, but I had no confidence in us stopping him on a 3rd and 2.

Portis averaged nearly 6 yards a carry against the Bears. Now, the Bears did hold him down for most of the game until Portis broke off a 40+ yard run, but 6 yards a carry is 6 yards a carry.

We must stop Portis.......or it will be a long night for us. I think we may be vulnerable to the run this game. Hopefully, we'll have most of the kinks worked out, but this is a concern of mine.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Fergy start tomorrow. Glover was getting pushed around early in SD. Granted in the second half he was pushing them around but I would rather have Fergy in there at the start.
