Conan asked Strahan who the meanest player was he said in an instant, Eric Williams. Said, "He'd fight his own mother." Then talked about Reggie White, a Preacher, Williams would make him want to fight. "How do you make a Preacher want to fight?!" Pretty funny he still remembers Eric to this day.

Anyone got any Eric Williams vids?

Yea i've never disliked him. He was a Giant but he's a likeable guy. I don't get that same feeling about any other guy on any other NFCE rival. Especially anyone on the Giants. I'm sure Tiki might be a great guy but I just can't stand him now or even when he played.

The further away he get from playing for the giants, the more likeable he is.

You ask any good/great DE of the 90s, particularly in the NFC, who their toughest match was and Big E is usually mentioned. The guy was on his way to being a lock first ballot HOFer. Before his accident, he had the complete package - skill, agility, strength, size, toughness, nastiness...you name it.

For a franchise that now cant draft a decent OL to save its life, Jerry & co. hit on 2 sure-fire HOFers in a span of 3 years. Williams in '91 and Larry Allen in '94.

Sorry not me! two things stick to my crawl about him:1) the infamous no sack on Bret Farve 2) the penalty on Big after MS cried like a littel girl to the Ref. Biggest BS penalty i've ever seen. MS was getting up to go kill our QB and Leonard Davis was just doing his job.

only because he did not play against Randy "the Manster" White.....don't get me wrong ....Big E is still one of my favorite....and yes, I seen him fight at training camps.....however, anyone in the know.....knows Randy White would kick their $*%*#!

Guess what?

William Fuller said the same thing too about Erik Williams 12 years ago.

Randy and MS both played on the same side of the ball, they would have never matched up anyway.

I shook hands with RW after a game once in the late 80's, ... dude was frightenly huge!

Osi is a pretty good guy. Brian Westbrook too. Hard to like them when they're trying to beat your team, but they're both pretty good guys.

He is talking about Randy vs E....not Randy vs MS.

BTW, Erik Williams vs Randy White would be absolutely epic to watch

it was a program the Cowboys run where they give young coaches, or coaches just starting out a chance to coach in the NFL

I guess it's only for a year

thanks...I was just hoping he would stick around. I can't help but think he looks at the size of Flo, Gurode, Davis and Columbo and says to himself "every team that has to play against these guys will never forget it". But they way our RBs get hit in the backfield or before they can even gain 2 yards makes me question what is really going on.

I couldn't stand Wedgie Whine and loved how Big-E always got the best of him and made him cry in one of the playoff games.

If Erik Williams hadn't had that car wreck he would be in the HoF today (or on his way if he played a lot of years). The guy was simply the best OT in football when he played.
